Take-A-Break Burger Bar — Restaurant in Queensland

Called in my order and spoke to a man who once he confirmed my order, quite literally, ended the call/hung up without so much as a “bye”.

Once I arrived, I was ignored and then the staff member huffed when walking towards me - I stated I had a phone order and asked to pay now. I was refused and told to pay at pick up - with only 4% battery due to working all morning and not having a charger. (This seems to be happening to a lot of people).

The food is great, decent servings usually. However, it appears some of the newer staff have a horrible attitude and don’t care about the customer service aspect of their business.

I will definitely not be returning to what was once my local until they sort out their attitude and don’t look annoyed over questions...

Chips are a good size. Fish good bit oily bit could have been the time.

Drinks are bit expensive needs more offers and bundles to make more profits Overall all food on menu is delicious.

Ladies are friendly and lovely.

Will continue to support as long as the chips are a decent size. Never change your quaility or quantity its what seperate you from everyone...

I e been going to this place for the better part of 2 decades, yes you read that right. Big serves of fish and chips and try the yatsi burger, you wont go hungry. It can be hard to place an order by phone when there busy (they just don't answer it). But if you drop in to order your food even when busy you normally dont have to wait to long like some...
