Used to be my favorite fish and chips shop in town, and I left a 5-star review.

But as soon as it came under new management, the new owner lowered the standards for everything without any regard for quality. Last time I ordered the seafood basket as I normally did, the serving size of the chips was only half of what the original owner used to offer. I checked the weight, and it was 180g. Called the staff regarding this issue, and the new manager promised that the portion of chips was 300g and offered me another serving, which turned out to be under 300g again.

What a shame to see a good shop decline like this. The reviews continue to drop, our eaters are not idiots. Measure the weight and don’t shortchange the customers.

Very very rarely write reviews but, in this instance i had to. Saw great reviews so we decided to place an order for 4 adults. 12 calamari rings, $4 chips and 12 fish bites. Oh, and coleslaw which they didn't have. What an absolute waste of money. Fish bites although a good size, were dry tough and tasteless old frozen strips of flake. I don't mind flake nor does the dog, but even the dog even the dog walked away from it. Calamari rings over cooked and remnants of the Calamari inside the crumb coating were no better than withered elastic bands. The chips, I didn't know chips could have a life expectancy. Because these were cooked to within an inch of their life, the only thing that kept them alive was the oil dripping from them. So annoyed and disgusted and evenmore annoyed i did not...

Decided to go here for lunch after spending the day at the beach. Was quite excited to get some fish n chips. However, from the moment I was served I had a bad experience. The male who served me was very rude towards me while ordering just because he was mumbling and I wasn’t able to understand what he was saying. This threw me off abit as I’m not from Bundaberg and I’m only here on holiday. When I received my food the bag was quite oily. I thought that it was coming from the chips until I opened the bag up and saw the fish was dripping in oil. I couldn’t even finish my lunch as the oil made me few very sick.
