My partner read the reviews for Fish N Chips, so we decided to give them a go. This was a good choice. The barra was fresh and thick. The batter was crispy and light. The prawns were plump and juicy! Before we made our selection, the owner asked if we wanted to see the fish and prawns to better decide what we wanted. This was very helpful. You can't beat service with a smile due to its rarity in Australia. In addition to the food being great, the prices were also outstanding. The seating is spartan, but we ate at one of the two outside tables adjacent to the store windows. If there was a lowpoint, it was the $3 for tomato sauce. I think I will leave my own soy sauce and ketchup in my car to avoid these ridiculous prices...

Honestly, if you're chasing the best fish and chips in Bundaberg, you absolutely have to hit up Fish "N" Chips. This place is an absolute ripper!

I always go for the flake, and every single time it's just amazing – super fresh, cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes are spot on, never leaving you wanting more.

The fella who owns it is always a legend too; genuinely nice, polite, and friendly, which makes picking up your order a breeze. Speaking of which, the service is always quick as a flash, and the prices are fantastic value for what you get.

I have just finished yet another meal from Ian and Kate at 251. I eat here sometimes several times a week and have been doing so for about 2 years now, I'm a big eater and find the serving sizes just fine but the main reason for eating here so often is that I'm very fussy about my seafood and at 251 it's always cooked perfectly, absolutely every time. In 2 years I can honestly say I have never had a problem or reason to complain. Except when they went on holidays ( my cooking pales in comparison to there's) so it was great when they came back to work. Keep up the great...
