Econo Lodge Park Lane — Hotel in Bundaberg West

Bad customer service experience with front office lady I called to ask a quick question about my friend who was working there that day. We were suppose to go donate blood and I had accidentally booked the appointment while she would still have been at work.

I thought “oh there’s no harm in asking, the worst they can say is no” so I called up to just try and explain and ask if I could steal my friend for half an hour. The lady I spoke to changed her tone as soon as I told her I was friends with one of her coworkers. She didn’t even let me explain she just quickly rushed me off of the phone. She wasn’t friendly at all and the whole interaction left me feeling really uncomfortable and kind of shocked.

I felt they had no time for people that aren’t giving them money, which really sucked because I have supported this business in the restaurant multiple times with my OWN hard earn money.

I do have to say This was the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience with Econo lodge.

It was just unfortunate that they cared more about how my one star review looked compared to how easy it would have been to get me to take it down if they actually treated me like one of their normal customers. Their reaction to my review spoke volume on what kind of people they are.

I want to end this on a light note so I definitely recommend going into the restaurant for a feed. The food is a bit on the pricey side but trust me when I say it’s beautiful, the chef is amazing! also restaurant staff and house keeping are lovely. 5 stars for...

Last minute Easter long-weekend get-away from Brisbane to Bundy for our family of 5 (with 3 primary-school aged children). We had stayed in Bundy before but not in this convenient location very close to food outlets, opposite a park for the kids to play/explore plus handy location to tourist attractions of Bundy and not far to the coast for a swim/exploring the beaches. Room was comfortable & self-contained - great for a short stay. Kids enjoyed having tv in their bedroom too (to watch foxtel movies). We all enjoyed having a swim in the onsite pool. It was great having the onsite laundry to wash & dry clothes etc (especially given our youngest was sick in the car just before we arrived in Bundy). Staff was very friendly & helpful. I had an unfortunate event with bookings through Agoda. If i had time to check, I never would have bothered. I went through Agoda because I was homeless and needed the money, it’s winter, it’s raining and it’s cold. I booked the room only to find the website stuffed my dates up. I cancelled because I freaked out and since then I have messaged over and over asking if they could rectify. No one will rectify however it ended up costing me $300 just for a room for the night and now they are charging me $80 just to cancel the booking because it was placed on the wrong date. Agoda is one of the biggest rip of company and I am left even less fortunate for the fortnight now during winter.
