Sorry folks, no good news here.

I got a BBQ bacon box that had really never tried to be the best it could be. Dead set of the saddest things I've ever tried to eat whilst being ravenous.

We rolled into Bundaberg after a long road trip, most places were already shut and we had five mouths to feed. The photos on the displays made it seem like we had struck an opal in a tin mine. Let's eat.

Store was clean, staff were attentive, service was quick and they were getting ready to close. No complaints here.

I could wax lyrical over how pale, dry and yet not crunchy my burger was. Maybe I just got what had been laying around all night - finally promoted to the internals of a burger. Whatever the case, it tasted as sad as I was to eat it. Three mouthfuls in I tapped out. No need to get fat from a sad burger.

Absolutely horrendous. Two stars have been given only because I need room to change to one star if I get food poisoning. I got a classic quarter meal and the chicken was barely warm. The chips were marginally warmer but soggy and barely salted. I also ordered chicken tenders and these were strangely cooked and warm inside but undercooked outside. The server was completely expressionless and seemed completely overwhelmed with the workload of my order. She was either victim of too much Botox or was still asleep. Either way, if you knocked me out cold, I'd still have given better service. This restaurant used to be excellent, so it's a shame it's become so terrible.
