Their service and food are totally terrible. We ordered one soup noodle, that taste like those instant noodles you can buy it from woolies. One fried noodles, that I need to keep pouring water in to dilute it, it feels like they dropped the whole bottle of salt into it. One black bean pork and chicken feet, both taste weird and very oily. Last but not least, their service, I went into the restaurant speaking English saying that we already have a table cos my friends are inside, the old man sees that Im an Asian so he speaks Mandarin to me and politely I reply him back in Mandarin. Alright, after that horrible and expensive meal, I went to the cashier and pay, so I speak Mandarin to the old man to confirm what I have ordered. He used a very sarcastic tone and said " In this country, you have to speak English ok?" wth?? who is the one who speak Mandarin to me first?? and my mother tongue is not even Mandarin! He didnt even bother how was our meal, he only bother if I speaks English.

Waitresses here totally not interested in customer service, talking amongst themselves loudly and not very polite talking to us. I asked her if the fish fillet with ginger was steamed, she said yes and I got a stirfried fish instead and the other waitress said "you must tell them you want the steamed fish which is another one" -.- the soup tasted terrible and there was maybe one tiny piece of crabmeat inside for a "crabmeat soup" and the fish was just barely passable. The only thing decent was the fried rice. Expected alot more for the prices here! Also tried to come here a few times before but they were closed/timing was different from advertised hours. Very disappointed.

White China deserves 4 stars. Food was tasty and very traditional in its form and taste. We have had Yum Cha and were pleased that everything was not oversalted or enhanced with msg. Certainly, the menu choices are somehow limited, but I can not expect the full range of Yum Cha dishes in a relatively small place as Bundaberg. Very pleased from most of the staff. Ken was very attentive and helpful and he stand out in a positive way. However, the young "local" guy was inappropriately casual in his communication. We would certainly visit White China again and try more dishes.

My mother took me out for my birthday lunch on Thursday 2nd May. We arrived at 12.30 and was seated outside in the Club section as I was told there was no tables for wheelchairs. There were only 2 of us. I had to get up and ask for menus at the counter. We waited for quite a while, waiting for drink & food service. The boy at the desk was busy behind the counter so I had to go inside to the staff at the kitchen and ask for table service as it had been a good 10 minutes and we still had no drinks. This was after having already been to the counter and threatening to leave for lack of service but again, the boy at the counter was not concerned and still didn’t send anyone to serve or try and appease the situation. I also noticed many tables available inside that we had eaten at on previous occasions with my mother and her wheelchair. We ordered a shared entree and a main meal each. First my mother’s main meal came, a few minutes wait, then the entree came, a few minutes wait then my main meal came. When we had finished our meals we again waited for a while for the meals to be cleared but it just never happened. I then went to the counter to pay and asked for a manager or most senior person on duty. The boy informed me it was himself. I explained we were unhappy. Firstly as we were the only 2 people outside, it was noisy with the poker machines going off, the bar dishwasher going behind the bar and the telephones & conversations behind the restaurant counter. His response, ā€˜I’ve eaton out there before with no problem’. When I explained the poor service he looked at me in a daze, no response. When I explained there were tables inside available we had sat at before, he explained the owners no longer allow 2 people to sit at tables of 4. Despite seeing numerous couples sitting on tables of 4 along the wall. When I explained the delay and meals coming out stagnated and at different times. He explained the owners have insisted meals be served as soon as they come up to the pass, regardless whether it’s an entree or main. When I had finished explaining my frustrating & disappointment, he just stared at me and said ā€œIs that allā€. He had absolutely no care factor whatsoever in my negative experience and did not even offer remotely, any sort of apology for my experience. My mother was utterly disgusted too. I am 56, have managed restaurants for 1/2 of my adult life and dined out extensively right across Australia and never come across such poor customer service and a total disregard for a negative...

Food was awesome. Like unbelievably great. Service was super duper fast. The meals were on the table within minutes of ordering. I suppose that would have been good if we were in a rush, however not so good when you’re trying to catch up with a mate over a meal. In the 5 seconds it took between ordering and food being placed, a man asked us if we were going to use our chopsticks, we said probably not, so he took them away. Straight after our meals were ordered, a waitress took away the little bowls that we had planned on using to share each other’s meal. The waitresses walked past us every 3 seconds or so ā€œjust checking to see how we were goingā€ A waitress tripped over my handbag. That was under the table. That’s how close they were hovering. I felt like a suspicious looking person walking around a shop being followed by store security. My friend had literally placed the last bit of food on her fork when the man whipped the plate out from underneath her. The food was really really good. However it would have been nice to enjoy it. Instead we felt pressured to rush it down due to the hovering. There was maybe another three or four tables being used. So it’s not like they were rushing us through due to the masses of people waiting to eat. Again, I can’t fault the food. But the service, although fast was terrible. I felt watched and hovered over the entire time. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Nor will I be suggesting that anyone...

If I could give zero stars I would. We questioned and asked where our entrees were after we had ordered and the rest of the table had received thier entrees. At this stage it had been 40 minutes since we had ordered, to be told she called them 15 minutes ago (really it was 20 minutes if you go off the docket she came to show me) fast forward another 20 minutes and our mains arrive at the table still no entrees in sight. Everyone at the table had received their mains yet we are still waiting for our mains and a kids meal. The waitress rudely tells me there is nothing she can do about it. We received our entrees and kids meals a further 15 minutes after everyone had received thier mains. I'm sorry there was plenty you could do. You stated that you noticed we hadn't received our entrees so you called them yet you didn't follow it up. Then after the mains arrived you come back and changed your story to that our entrees were crossed off as received even though 30 minutes prior we were asking for you to push our entrees so we could eat. Terrible customer service and the food was pretty average to top it off. $300 spent at the table defiantly could have been spent else where on a much more...
