Worst service ever. I holiday with my family in Noosa at least 4 times a year and have done for more than 10 years. We have been to Zachery’s pizza a ton of times. This time was the worst ever! I went to the bar to order. The tall young tattoo sporting, attitude bearing young girl greeted me with a “yes”! As if I was interrupting her night! I calmly said “I would like to order please”. Her reply “what table number”? I responded, “I don’t know there are no table numbers on the tables” with a huff and puff her response was “well where is it”! Anyway, eventually got through that. We had a long wait but that’s ok, public holiday pretty busy but not overly. Pizzas came out and we were delivered a small when we ordered a large. I tried to tell the waitress as she more or less sprinted away from our table. No success there as she clearly didn’t care. I approached another waitress as she was checking her phone at the kitchen pass. I politely explained that we had ordered a large not a small. With a roll of her eyes and huff from her nostrils she walked into the kitchen to show me the order docket stating that clearly I was wrong! I simply explained that I had asked for a large pizza not a small and would pay the extra if it was an issue. After some resistance we eventually came to an agreement and eventually we received our correct order. The pizzas were tasty but the service was so bad and so rude that we didn’t even want to be there. I will still bring the family to Noosa as we grew up here and continue to come holiday and visit friends. I definitely will not go back to Zachary’s and will not recommend it. Clearly us tourists are an inconvenience...
Read moreThis is without the worst experience I have had as a customer in a food establishment. Last Friday night this pizza place was so busy that they did not pick up the phone to take phone orders, the phone just rings and rings. I decide to just drive down there as I live close by. I order and am told it would be a 25 min wait. Ok, I can see it's busy. So I order and wait for my pizzas. I am standing at the pick up point and watch docket after docket spit out of the Uber Easts ordering machine (Uber Eats seems to get priority). I am ignored by the staff for about 40 minutes. I approach the staff member whom I ordered through and he is not helpful, so I approach another guy whom seems to be in charge. I ask how much longer, it's now been 45 mins. He checks and then comes back to tell me they have an oven down and my order is still 20-30 mins away. Do I want to wait or receive a refund? I am furious at this point. I have wasted a the best part of an hour standing there and my order is nowhere in sight. The guy fails to make eye contact as I take the refund and vow never to darken their doorstep again. I have no problems cutting them off as the food is only mediocre anyway and the service is even worse. Shame Zachary's, we have been coming here for about 20 years, but no more. I wish I could...
Read moreWe brought my mother here for a nice mother's day lunch as it is where she wanted go. We ordered two pizzas, cheesy garlic bread, wings and a salad. Upon getting our food the pizzas were browned and overcooked, the garlic bread resembled a brown Frisby. We ate our food and found the topping to be overcooked and burnt, the base seems to be frozen and generally unpleasant. The garlic bread seemed to have had some garlic paste rubbed over it and then blasted with cheese, gross! My mum's food was very nice and the drinks OK. I complained to the manager Steve, who in turn asked to see the plates and told me he was unauthorised to refund me but I could have another pizza if I liked. I replied this is ridiculous and unheard of where a manager has no ability to refund unhappy customers. I was happy to be partially refunded as the drinks and mum's food was OK. This was an expensive lesson $150+ for less than mediocre pizza and terrible customer service. But again at least me...
