Ali Baba Takeaway — Restaurant in Rivervale

There's literally not enough nice things or words to say about this place. The crew is wonderful, always a warm, friendly greeting, food is always delicious, a genuine warmth throughout the whole store, it's just awesome. We started going here (it seems like a few others had this same experience!) when we made our laundry runs every week/fortnight or so, and I cannot, CANNOT hold myself back from getting a salami and cheese pide when we do. It's delicious every single time. I heat it up on a sandwich press the next day if I haven't smashed it the night before, and it's still delicious. Just incredible. Just a stunning, amazing little restaurant everyone should give their money to. If you like Turkish food, please go here. My friend and I were working on a project when we decided to take a dinner break! We got two Kebabs that were pretty good!

The delivery time was also quite good. It wasn't busy and we were the last two customers they served before closing.

Everything was going well and then an under age girl that works there asked my friend for a cigarette to which we declined and explained the legal implications of doing that. We had to have a quick talk with her about that.

She said she always asked people for cigarettes and got them! She appreciated our advice and seemed to have been glad we advised her better.

In no way should this be used against her. Kids like most human beings, hopefully continue to learn and grow from their mistakes.

CHICKEN PIZZA, and CHICKEN BURGER

Customer Service: it was a hit and miss the young girl who took my order was more interested on her phone than acknowledging me as well as lack of knowledge of the meals they served ask for recommendations and she basically pointed to the back board. However the old gentleman assuming the owner was extremely nice and friendly.

Food: the fries were yummy, pizza was really dried, tomato tasted off and very bland barely could taste the cheese, sauce and chicken was dried.

Price: $60ish wouldn’t spend this much money there again not value for money.

Recommend to friends/family: 100% recommend it others as it’s just one of those days I will definitely go back to try other...
