Read moreThis property is currently undergoing some construction which was not made aware to patrons on their website or any other affiliated partners. Upon checking in there was no parking spots left due to the renos, and was told to park on the side street outside of the vicinity of the property. Luckily one of the staff moved the parking cones (inside of property) so we can park our car there the first night. When we entered our room, it stinks of cigarettes, very badly. Informed reception, didn't seem concerned, just offered room spray. ||||Second night still no parking and was told to again park outside of the property on the street. Hubby found empty space which was coned off. Got a call from reception to move our car because that designated space was for the security guard. Luckily didnt move our brand new car which took us 5 years of 12-14hour shifts to save up for..Some junkie in a red car had driven into and smashed a parked car of a patron staying at the property, exactly the same spot I was told to park my brand new car at. Can you imagine, what are the chances, that could've been my car!!||||Third night I was looking for the tv remote and found empty bags of drug sachets (meth) and remnants of weed in the draws. I was not happy. I'm pregnant and to know that there have been drugs smoked in this room and I'm essentially breathing the remnants left on these walls, furniture, linen etc. Disgusting!||||If I was made aware of constructions going on at the property I wouldn't have booked to stay there for over $160 plus txes a night. Waste of money and not worth it. No regards for safety of customer's property, cleanliness was mediocre and there was constantly junkies walking around and through the property's carpark because the back gates opened. Terrible...
Read moreI have stayed here 3 times since Dec 2023. All my stays so far have been great and this place has become my go-to for a place to stay in Perth which I’ve recommended to my friends in the past.
Unfortunately this stay left me feeling uneasy about staying here again and I don’t think currently I can recommend it to my friends.
The first time I stayed here I paid no security bond.
The second time I stayed here I paid $100 security bond. When I checked out, the receptionist sent a cleaner to the room to check it over then gave the $100 in cash.
This time I paid a $300 security bond (worth more than the whole stay!!). That was unexpected but okay. When I handed my keys to the receptionist around 9:30am she told me thank you and have a good day.
Confused, I asked about the bond.
“Oh you paid a bond?” She said.
“Yes, I paid $300!” I replied.
She then checked the files, grabbed a piece of paper then wrote down bsb, account number and name then handed it to me to fill out.
Once I filled it out and gave it to her she told me to have a nice day, I asked her how long it would take and she said 2-3 business days.
In that moment and afterwards I feel that if I did not ask about my bond, I would not get it back. That is not okay. It was handled in an unprofessional manner and considerably different to my second stay experience.
Consistency is key. Next time I stay is it going to be a $400 bond or back to $100?? Not a good look. Am I going to have to remind the receptionist every single time about getting my money back? Do I need to plan to spend more way more money on the bond than my actual stay?
Also it appeared like there was a patch of black mould on the white bed sheets (20x20cm) that had been washed hundreds of times but could still clearly...
