Roast Express — Restaurant in Rockingham

Their staff lied about the price, its 19.26 with tax, but they put over 20$ said its with tax and gravy for regular meat and vegs. After that I came back again, their anothet staff lied that they only have pork now, but i see they still have beef and she said the gravy is free with it. But their staff still make excuse for that. They racist me for want to charge me more money than it should be and the food they can serve. Because last time i came its only pork available because its late, but this time its early and they looks like gossip about last time i came. The second time i came today their staff look their other staff when she said its only pork available after she asked me beef or pork and its only 10 mins after the first time i came today that beef is available. And some their pork didnt choped, obviously they do it on purpose. Its big they obviously can see it. I feel they are not very friendly and they were racist me. I am not going to buy their food again. Its a very terrible experience there. They are maybe more friendly to white people who is same...

Yesterday I was released from hospital after spinal surgery,and was craving something heavy to eat. After reading and hearing the great reviews on roast express, I decided that's the place. So my partner went and picked up our Jumbo roast beef with roast potatoes, pumpkin, cheesy cauliflower bake, peas,corn,yorkshire pudding and gravy. When he got home with meal and opened it, his face was full of disappointment. Not much meat ,potatoes and pumpkin, and Yorkshire pudding,placed in separate container. No cheesy cauliflower bake, no pea's and corn. What we received meat,potatoe and pumpkin wise was delicious, I wont deny that, but more like the size of a small meal, with a lot of missing bits. I could have called and complained, but neither of us were in the mood, and was to far to drive back. I felt so bad for my partner, who insisted I eat the meal, we managed to make an appetiser each out of it then he cooked me a delicious toasty. I highly doubt we will return, perhaps it was just a bad afternoon for...

Went there yesterday for the 3 meats and vege ...well I enjoyed it so much they even asked if I had had enough to eat? Such friendly staff and enjoyed it thoroughly looking forward to coming back for my next dinner.. Did I say the crackle was to die for!!! Tender meats and just an all round fantastic meal...I'm getting excited thinking about the next feed there hahaha🤣

UPDATE APRIL 2023 This time I have to say disappointed. I have tried it 3 times under new owners and it's not the same as previous owners. Such a shame it was My favourite take out. I will give it one more try hoping that the owners are listening to the reviews of late. Brian when you open another shop let us know 🤣

Update 2025 I've tried so many times to order but they won't put crackle in when I ask..even if I order early before 6pm. I really wanted to continue buisness but it's not a great feeling excited to eat your roast dinner and no crackle. Last time they said it's run out at 7pm...fair enough but at...
