Poor customer service, very rude. Food looked good but the customer service for a country town was disappointing to say the least. Jabbed or un-jabbed this is Australia. I witnessed un-jabbed customers spoken too very poorly as if they were second class citizens. I don’t care about your personal view on the issue, if you treat fellow Aussie’s with such disregard you do not deserve my or my family’s business. There’s no excuse for a business to treat anyone like that. I realise that there are government directives that are dictating to small businesses (specifically food outlets) about who can and cannot ‘dine in’ but nothing about take away food. That being the case, it seems as though it is the decision of the business owners/employees to enforce their own dictatorship style customer service. It is disappointing that any small business owner would treat anyone with such disregard. Small business relies on customers, without them good luck keeping the doors open and lights on. Reading other online reviews, it looks as though I am not the first person to witness the poor treatment of customers. The attitude and response to those reviews speak volumes. You really need to assess where you are going to be once all of this is over. Good luck with your future business, if you keep it up, you are really...
Read moreVery impressed - I went to the bakery with friends (visitor to Roma) for breakfast - wow - extensive menu and great service - happy staff and a few travelling tips given by the lady making coffee. We were a group of 4 and all ordered breakfast from the menu & coffee/tea. Eggs Benedict was amazing (I had it with bacon and a side of mushrooms) - very filling - others in the party had omelette, bacon & egg roll (amazing value), and one had 'classic' bacon & eggs and said it was perfect. Was a cold and drizzly day and the bakery was warm and inviting - lots of 'locals' there too getting their daily fix of bakery food. Food was so good we went back the next day for lunch. I had an excellent 'chunky steak pie', others had a gourmet burger - served with great chips, one had an open grill (again the great chips) and the other our party had a toasted wrap (also great chips) with chicken and avo. All of us said our only complaint was that we could not fit in a serve of the amazing slices and pastries on offer - I need to revisit this place and just have coffee and a slice (or maybe not eat my friends chips :) Will certainly visit again if I'm in the area - well...
Read moreI frequent this bakery/coffee stop on my travels through Roma to visit customers out west. After what I witnessed this morning I will never ever stop here again! Two polite gentlemen came into the bakery to order TAKEAWAY coffee. They were refused due to their non-vaxxed status. I re-iterate it was TAKEAWAY coffee which the State law says everyone is quite at liberty to do without breaking any TEMPORARY laws! I took the time to speak to these 2 gentleman when I passed them on the street after their refusal (they had coffees in hand from someone who was happy to serve them!) and they told me they also frequent this bakery when they travel out west and will of course never visit there again – even when these temporary laws lift. You might say the bakery is entitled to turn them away for TAKEAWAY coffee as it is their business. But this one move has lost them 3 maybe more customers in one morning. Bakearoma perhaps you should put a note on your Facebook page and Website advising everyone that you refuse to serve un-vaxxed people at all even for takeaway!! This would help people make informed decisions about whether they support your...
