Roma Kebabs and curry house — Restaurant in Roma

Spectacular food. Amazing service. The nicest employees. Roma Kebabs is a nice, ambiant store near Roma’s CBD and will satiate any of your needs. Though it may be called a kebab store, it sells a variety of Indian, Fiji, and Australian style cuisine, in a nice small shop. Additionally this store works as an Indian food shop with great prices.

Upon entering, the employee greeted us so kindly, and as we ordered, he was ready to serve us customers, even offering items of the menu for fantastic prices, even making them fresh on the spot. (you could see him grab the vegetables and smell the aroma of the fresh cooking) Additionally it only took a good 10 minutes for our food to be served, an 3 part Indian dish.

Best vegetables in town by far. The scent was amazing, the taste even better. Serving this quickly, in this large portions and this tiny price, it was amazing. After tasting the food moi 😗 it was amazing and completely fulfilling by the end.

THE PRICE?! My partner and I often travel through Roma, and today we wanted something other than greasy fast food. Was going to opt for subway but saw the kebab shop and instantly changed our minds. When I tell you the shock on our face when the price came to $51! For two combo meals (this is not advertised on the boards out the front btw) we thought these hopefully will be the best kebabs we have ever had! They weren’t bad, but not the best, they weren’t filled to the top and the chips were a bit oily. Average food for above average price. Avoid. I asked for a salad and was clear I was after salad, meat and chips and was told that was what I’d get and sold a snack box which turned out to be a $20 brick of inedible lard and cheese. Not what I wanted or could eat, and they couldn’t give a stuff. They just argued that it was what a snack box contained, despite me saying I thought I had ordered a salad.
