Ruby Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Roma

A couple of days ago, I went to get some Chinese to go from Rubys and it was absolutely terrible. I stood there for three minutes, waiting for the lady to serve me while she was on the phone speaking in her native language to someone on the phone, and eventually she decided to Serve me and instead of her getting off the phone she continued to have her little conversation on the mobile, while she was putting the food in the container of what I wanted and still continued to talk on the phone when I was paying for it, and as it served in a hotbox, it ended up being Warm, so paying the $20 or so dollars Is definitely not worth it and is a complete rip off and the customer service is absolutely terrible next time I’m in roma. I am definitely not going to this Chinese restaurant again because even the restaurant Outdated...

Price was high, quality of the food did not reflect the value. ($35.20 for pictured food minus a bite of each 21-06-2022)

I have had better food at other Chinese restaurants, but the sweet and sour pork is hard to mess up and it went down easily regardless.

Possible hidden fees on takeaway, eftpos surcharge not as surprising, but price still differed marginally from that advertised. Was not offered receipt, felt uncomfortable prying further for one, especially on such a small error or oversight.

Service was prompt, and staff were patient while I decided on my hotbox selections.

I will likely opt for the Indian cuisine next door over this...

Last nights I stepped back into this store after 7 years of living away.

To my surprise nothing had changed, 7 years later and I’m still coming back to this fantastic little Restraunt I remembered like it was yesterday. The food was just as full of flavour as the last time I dinned here. The service was friendly with a smile. The honey chicken was spot on and the sweet and sour pork cooked to perfection. If your in town don’t be shy drop by and give these guys a chance to wow you with there flavours and service.
