The August Moon Sawtell — Restaurant in Sawtell

We had the worst Chinese food experience tonight. The pork spring rolls were soggy inside and tasteless. Seemed frozen. The fried rice was not fried! It was white with frozen peas and a few frozen prawns. The pork ribs in plum sauce was far too sweet. Honey taste ruined the dish. The Mongolian Lamb had way too much of a dark soy sauce taste. Most was left untouched. The Combination Chow mein was okay but bland. Meat in all dishes was okay but lacking flavour. The people were nice but we left completely unimpressed but...

The food was very poor quality, and not very nice to eat. We pretty much left our plates full that we ordered, when we went to pay and express to the cashier that the food was terrible and we barely ate any of it, she didn’t even listen or care, was just worried about getting the $$$ Definitely wouldn’t go back or recommend eating...

Honestly the best Chinese Restaurant I’ve ever eaten in! Food was spectacular, the customer service was top tier and the atmosphere all round was fantastic, I’ve been to every Chinese Restaurant in toormina/coffs and Sawtell area and August Moon is the one to beat! Me and the husband will be definitely making it a weekly...
