I'm extremely disappointed with this place now! It used to be our favourite local restaurant and we ate here regularly... It has gone downhill dramatically since it became another 'Musafa's Kebabs' chain! It's no longer authentic and everything has changed (sadly) There are several reasons why I'm disappointed. Firstly, the food is nowhere near as tasty anymore (lacks flavour, the meat was bland, the gozlemes have less filling and everything tastes like typical fast food) another frustration was that the menu is limited, they've removed the best dips, the serving sizes are now smaller but the prices are more expensive! The meat is no longer charcoal grilled, it's just thrown onto a regular hot-plate... And the charm of this place is gone! It used to be a cosy, warm atmosphere and now it looks clinical and is cluttered with the bright red Musafa's signage - Like all their other takeaway shops! This is no longer a nice restaurant, it's just typical fast food. We came as a large group and all had the same complaints, we noticed a strange, gross smell that was lingering the whole time - It was really unsettling! If you loved the vibe and menu of the original restaurant - Don't bother coming here, it's just like all the other Musafa's in town. I can't believe they changed this place and downgraded everything about it. Another annoying change is that you can no longer order from your table, you pay upfront and then get seated (which turns the experience into a rush when choosing meals) and the customer service is lacking. I really wish they kept the restaurant as it was! They've now lost 10 customers because we won't be...

Tried Mustafa’s in Shepparton and honestly walked out pretty disappointed. I ordered the mixed grill, and the portion was tiny – nowhere near what the photos suggest. The advertising feels quite misleading, and it didn’t live up to expectations at all, nearly $50 for two. Should of went with two kebabs instead.
To make things worse, everything came out except the chips, and we were nearly finished eating before they finally brought them out. When they did arrive, they were a mix of overcooked and old, reheated chips – barely edible and definitely not fresh.
For the price, I expected much better. The food was average at best, and the service just made the experience worse. Sadly, not worth the money, and I won’t be rushing back...
Read moreDear readers, authentic Turkish food right to you. When I went into the restaurant with a friend. I had a delicious mixed plate meal, that had delectable Turkish meats, and sumptuous salads. Oh, so, so, so, delicious dear readers. And as curiosity spiked, I was deeply curious as to what a Gozleme actually was? And I did not have to wait long, the lovely staff, informed me, quick as a whip, that it was a grilled, thinly rolled dough, that had many types of fillings. I have since had more than one over a few food festival events that Gozleme has attended, and dear readers they are delicious.
They are under new management now, being apart of Mustafas Kebabs chain, but keeping the traditional Turkish food vibe.
So if Turkish food is your desire or curiosity has your belly. Gozleme Palace...
