My Family & I And Friends From Lifestyles Shepparton Attended The Aussie Hotel For Christmas Lunch 2022 ( $110 Per Head ×2 Tables ) ????? We Were Absolutley Disgusted, It Wasn't Worth The Money At All & It Was Over Crowded & Not Enough Staff & U Couldn't Bloody Move & The Food Was Average, There Was No Consideration 4 " COVID " EITHER ( NO SOCIAL DISTANCING) & WE HAD 2 STAND IN LINE FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG 2 GET A MEAL ... THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO ORGANISATION WHEN IT CAME 2 THE LINE - UP WHICH WENT OUT THE FRONT DOOR OF THE AUSSIE !!!!!! & WE ALL ATE AT DIFFERENT TIMES & ISN'T CHRISTMAS DAY ABOUT FAMILIES BEING 2GETHER Celebrating & ENJOYING Each Other's Company ?? Because It Was Very Hard, Cause Someone Was Always Lining Up 4 Food !!!!!! WE WILL NOT B ATTENDING UR Restaurant Again On Christmas Day & The Organisers Need A Good Talking To ... This is my first review, ever. I've never been more offended in my life.

Today, my colleagues and I are up from Melbourne, with all the correct paperwork/travel passes. 2pm walking into 'The Aussie' organising a table for 6:30pm.

Speaking and confirming with the manager Ian, it was arranged, with only the question of my postcode - 'All good see you then'! Ian (manager).

Arriving after a day's work after a beautiful spring walk, we entered. Waiting patiently to be attended too. Mind you a beer in a pub is now considered a luxury where I'm from.

Approached by Ian and confirming my reservation with him, he told me; 'Unfortunately I can't let you guys in.... Im not allowed to... I can't risk it I'm sorry...' Ian knows who I am, my colleagues and I have been coming to Shepparton the past 8 years and continuously go to the Aussie for a good meal.

On arrival on friday night 12th January2024 , a lovely young waitress helped us, and then we asked if we could go upstairs, which she was happy to guide us, and it was our very first time at this place and our girls' night out. Yes, there was little confusion about the meals, but we got over that upstairs. Waitresses were so kind to help. Oh my, I can't get over this. All waitresses and securities were amazing - I don't know which words will describe them but the number 1 best team at this place. In between, the manager female kept walking around, keeping an eye out on her all her staff's. We even went in upstairs disco corner, and Holly, the DJ, came to say hi and thanked us as we were first there. Even the crowd were so polite and they were well behaved. Except around 1am, some misbehaved and securities slowly and quitely removed them. Overall, we had one of the best times. Surely, we will be back at this...
