Great Service! We arrived late as dinner was finishing up with a tribe of small children, instead of making a fuss about the time they served us dinner and for a pub meal you could not fult it, we got a seafood basket, my wife hates fish and seafood and she even enjoyed the meal.

It was not greasy at all and everything was cooked perfectly on the plate the crumbed prawns, calamari and fish and chips were all spot on I wish everyone could cook fish and chips like this... in my top 10.

We also ordered a lamb shank and it was also perfectly cooked and the fresh rosemary on the side was great cause it gives you the smell without overpowering the lamb, yum... thanks chef!!!

This was one if the few times we have ordered a seafood basket or a lamb shank from a pub and not walked away feeling sick from all the greese. Was sooo good.

I can not fault this place, we stayed at the motel next door and that was also really good service and value, no snobbery here just really good food and good service and a clear fav for the locals....

Dont be fooled by the "old school" front bar decor, this hotel is a hidden gem. (Not quite David Bowie's "Lets Dance", but if you come here you'll know what I mean! ) It's a block back from the main highway and with views of the magnificent Flinders Ranges (especially at dusk) and you're in for a real Aussie pub treat should you decide to stay for a meal. When the locals started arriving at 5.50pm despite the "orders taken at 6pm" rule, we knew we were onto a winner here!
