Had higher expectations given the reviews but it was so-so. Had the chilli scramble with smashed avo - they used a croissant as the base of the dish instead of the traditional sourdough. It's totally ok to do something different and non-traditional if it works, however the croissant was very soft. The beautiful thing about having scrambled eggs on sourdough is that the eggs are soft and sourdough is crunchy so the textures balance each other out nicely. Had a Portuguese tart too and that was soft and soggy. Portuguese tarts should have lots of layers of crispiness. So, I wasn't hugely impressed. Service was quick and friendly.

We knew we arrived too late for lunch but thought we’d ask anyway. Rude, I know. To our delight, rather than turn us away, they kindly gave us 5 minutes to order! We ordered the Breakfast Burger Drilla, BLT, iced latte and latte. My wife elected to eat the onion rings (accompanying the burger) first and was delighted to find they were crunchy on the outside and juicy within. Regarding the burgers, the salad ingredients were fresh and crisp, the buns were soft and sweet, the bacon plentiful and delicious, and the eggs cooked perfectly … we washed them down with great coffees. Needless to say, we shall be back!

The aroma of the marinated beef was divine, they cooked the beef perfectly & what a MASSIVE serving. Super polite, a nice calming vibe, the gentleman behind the counter was well mannered, super friendly & a real gentleman & also very shy. Clean & tidy, cakes look great but I didn't get the chance to try. Sorry all you coffee lovers, I also didn't try there coffees. Come along check these guys out help your local businesses especially how so many small businesses are out of business because of covid. They relay on us locals to keep them going...

I came here for breakfast with my elderly grandmother. At the cafe she had a medical episode and went in and out of consciousness. No staff assisted in any way or checked in, they just kept making coffee and watched me while I held her up so she didn’t choke until I got an ambulance there. The other customers were of more help. Very poor duty of care or knowledge of customer service in general. Food is just okayyyy just your usual breakfast food and quite expensive. Wouldn’t recommend, especially if you’re planning on having a heart attack

*in response to below reply, yes you came once after I asked the lady on the table behind me to ask for assistance from staff. To which you said can I give her water I said no she’s not properly conscious. I then asked can you please go to Woolworths to get the defibrillator to which you said “what is that”. Thanks so much for your quick and caring reply, she’s still in hospital, thanks...

We ordered breakfast for two and extra hot cappuccino. We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast to arrive. When it arrived, it was not what we ordered, so we had to send it back and waited another 15 minutes. There were no apologies from the staff. We witnessed other customers around us having to wait a long time for their order. A gentleman complained he had been waiting 35 minutes for his coffee. An older couple nearby, waited over 30 minutes for their two coffees and cake. There was also a group of eight people - half of them were served their breakfast and finished eating by the time the rest of the table was served theirs. Our food was good, when we finally got our proper order, but the hour wait to get breakfast was definitely not good. In addition the cappuccino was not extra hot. We won’t...

We went in with modest expectations and found it really disappointing. The service was slow and indifferent, and the food was pretty ordinary yet upper end of what you’d expect to pay for a casual cafe. The Caesar salad so smothered in dressing I now feel a bit ill, and the chicken curry wasn’t a curry at all. My husband was actually hesitant to eat it because it seemed off. They couldn’t be bothered splitting a large milkshake into two glasses for our kids and we had to ask for water several times after none was offered or ready for customers to help themselves on a hot day. I hate to write a negative review but wanted to warn others and give...
