The staff lacked communication and could benefit from additional training. For the price, the portions were quite small. The staff was also inflexible—when we ordered pho for five people, we received only a small plate with bean sprouts and just five basil leaves…

Updated reply:

We understand that the new staff member is still learning, and we were patient with her situation. It was clear she was new, and we didn’t hold that against her. However, the bigger issue lies with the overall experience, particularly the staff member at the counter. They made us feel unwelcome and uninterested in serving us, which left a bad impression. We didn’t expect them to speak Vietnamese, as we are perfectly fine with ordering in English, but their attitude made us uncomfortable.

As Vietnamese ourselves, we also felt that the food was not authentic, which added to the disappointment. But this feedback is mostly about the service—something that needs serious improvement across the board, not just with the new staff.

Main point here is our feedback was not about the new staff member, and we understood her situation. However, the real issue we raised—like receiving just five basil leaves for a dish ordered for five people—was completely ignored in your response. Mentioning the new staff member feels like an excuse to deflect from the actual problem. We were not directing our feedback toward her, but rather toward the...

I have never been here before (even though I’m a local) but was craving some rice paper rolls & remembered that this place had them, from seeing it previously on their fb menu.

Popped in quickly to get some as I assumed they would sitting in a display cabinet. NOPE they make them while you wait, which took about 5 minutes. I took them back home so didn’t get to see them until I opened the box! WOW they were MASSIVE! Filled extra full with the freshest of ingredients & super yummy chicken! There was a little container of sauce, which was ample for both rolls with more besides (I hate running out of sauce) it was so moreish! šŸ˜ Best rice paper rolls I’ve had & will be certainly making this place a regular!! Staff were lovely, atmosphere extremely inviting, price point very reasonable, can’t...

I have eaten at somewhere on Buderim twice now and both times it has been amazing! First time was a few weeks ago, we dined in and almost got one of everything on the menu (mixed group of meat eaters and vegans) and it was all so authentic and tasty. They didn’t have the vegan pho available that night which I was really looking forward to, but it gave me the opportunity to try other vegan options on the menu (from working in hospitality, I totally understand when menu items aren’t available! Prep takes time). I then got takeaway tonight and finally had the vegan pho I’ve been looking forward to for a while and boy it did not disappoint. This place has got to be the best Vietnamese food on the sunny coast! Service has always been very friendly also,...

Need a decent Vietnamese meal with flavour? Somewhere on Buderim (actually 56 Burnett Street), Buderim, is tucked away in a small laneway), you'll experience friendly staff; authentic food; an indoor and outdoor looking out on to greenery. It's clean and with toilets. Parking is on the street or nearby parking areas. BYO alcoholic drinks to the cafe/restaurant, which sells soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages. The Vietnamese prawn or chicken pancakes are huge! Great value for money. A big tick from us. āœ”ļø We were very full from lunch, but we even bought a takeaway chicken chilli salad to have at home that night.

The chicken pho is a flavorful bowl with a broth that is light yet rich, infused with an aromatic blend of herbs. The rice noodles are soft but not mushy, giving the soup a great texture. It’s a wholesome, warm meal that feels both nourishing and delicious, ideal for a light lunch or dinner. The chicken salad is a refreshing, healthy option that doesn't skimp on flavor. The chicken is juicy and well-seasoned, paired with crisp veggies like lettuce, cucumber, and carrots, all topped with a light, tangy dressing that ties everything together nicely.
