Now that is a place I am about to properly write a review via Trip Advisor. Real flavour cuisine lovers have to book mark that place. Ettore (as in Ettore Bugatti, the master of car craft), and his partner Jenny are true flavour hunter... and deserve "Master of Craft" recognition, in the same spirit as you have, in France, Meilleur Ouvrier de France. It is no ordinary Thai coocking. We go there every Friday or Saturday... and on top of that, we not only dine there every Friday, but also chose some other beaut-food Jenny does so thoroughly, as take away for the week end. We are on the Alex. Stone throw away drive to discover new dishes. Jenny is from Lao. She enjoy so much her creations, you may ask for Lao dish... ever Malais dishes. Once been there once, your GPS wont forget.
My latest post on Trip Advisor: MESMERIZED ... like no other. Jenny and partner Ettore (yes, as in Ettore Bugatti, a genius in car craft) is a synergic-two that covers and offers flavory-crafting around well-known Thai food, but also, Laotian (on demand), Malaysia (on demand), Indonesian (on demand). Crafting with the same beautiful result as Mister Bugatti had once surprised the world. Jenny and Ettore, Flavour Masters, are listening to "YOU"... to deliver a crafted flavour, tuned on new levels for you, where, Thai food is not to "burn" your tastebuds, but also to allow to discover marriages between plants, otherwise never used in other cuisines. We recently migrated from France. We enjoyed Thai food for many years in many European countries. Yet, here, sitting in Infusion Café and Thai was a true hallelujah … same joy as Leonard Cohen. Since that day in May 2020, we have made a regular visit to Jenny, once a week, either Friday evening or Saturday. My wife and I have truly and really sampled many dishes, such as Money Bags, Satay Chicken, Fish Cakes to start with the obvious “had to try”, but also Panang Curry (Chicken or Prawns), Massaman Beef Curry. On the list of starters, we negotiated with Jenny, a few Bitter Leaf (Miang Kham…) and can only insist you please your tastebuds with this. On the “unlisted” ones, as I fancy any forms of Laksa, I negotiated chicken Khao Soi. Please, GO FOR IT. It is a winner… actually this is what I am about to get tomorrow night. On their list we sampled something not difficult to find, yet, not always with the right flavour (and weak to clear your sinuses), I am talking about Som Tum, or Green Papaya Salad. Jenny is not born on that planet, I swear… Readers…. YOU GOT TO TRY it… I would even bet Jenny’s Som Tum should be on the mandatory list to fight Covid-19, as it clears, crystal clear, so well, your breathing apparatus. Pad Thai classic yet, no mistake here. Perfect. Then, as a change, one night, we switched from Pad Thai to Pad Kee Mao… and bingo… another Leonard Cohen “Hallelujah” ringing the twists and turns of my brain. I would/could write a lot more on our source for quality at Infusion Café & Thai. Ettore, Italian descent, knows how to select a fine Roasting Master and can craft our coffee beans to your liking, on all counts, Source (origin) of the beans, rostering level, then grinding. In France we have 2 or 3 Nespresso machines, here, we have one fine drip machine… and requires a crafted grinding coffee beans like no other. Same as thorough Thai crafting from Jenny, Ettore can do that...

I had takeaway, but I was just really, really disappointed considering it’s just not a patch on what it used to be. You’re being charged the same price for the same menu, but it’s very clear that the quality of produce is nowhere near the standard it was and has been largely compromised for profitability.
The first red flag was the crinkle-cut carrot - frozen? Pad see ew would be a staple in any Thai chefs repertoire (and the one here used to be fantastic) but was a sticky mess of under-seasoned and overcooked noodles. Pad se ew is caramelised, brown (from soy and oyster sauce) and lovely - this was pasty white. Other wok dishes, despite all being somewhat different, tasted and looked the same. Had that corn-flour thickened sauce vibe you get with food from the Chinese restaurant at a country bowlo – it did not seem like Thai food at all.
Really bummed. Sorry to do this to you, but, easily some of the worst food I have paid for. A lot of ground to cover before it can be competitive with other restaurants in the area. The best thing that can be done is to offer proper, authentic Thai food – as the chefs probably...
Read moreAmazing atmosphere and great ambience . Wether you are going for a romantic one on one experience or with the whole family it caters for both. Friendly staff and very accommodating. I had the soft shell crab entree , great flavour, texture and perfectly seasoned. For mains I had the penang curry ,so tasty and creamy. I've had many curries over t^the years and I can safely say that the green curry my nephew had was probably the most decent curry I've had in my life and that's coming from a bloke that grew up eating curries . When you initially look at the menu it seems daunting but just have a conversation with the staff and they can help you make a decision. When you look at the prices don't be dismayed the portion sizes are basically 2 per serve . I could barely finish my meal it was so big. Still was able to get a take away container and eat it at home . So in closing food was made with love and service was provided with a smile. 5 out of 5 will definelty visit...
