I didn't want to be the person to ruin this restaurant's perfect score here and I've been thinking if I should add this comment here or not. I went to this restaurant because of the rating on google. With a perfect score, you would assume that this restaurant has no problems, so I decided to go. I'm not going to talk about anything else apart from the main dish, which is what triggered me to comment on this. I decided to get the Wagyu 8-9 Score Rump Cap, which is the second most expensive item in the menu. This is an extremely fancy type of cut. I've had this exact same steak multiple times before, which I, in most occasions, cooked myself. When you have a bite of this type of steak, it melts in your mouth and has a very intense and unique flavour that coats your mouth in less then a second. Thats due to the wagyu fat that's in it. Unfortunately, the steak that I had in this restaurant was 100000% not a Wagyu Rump Cap MB 8-9 steak. I had to chew it quite a lot which is not normal even for a poor quality rump cap. To be fair, it did taste like a normal rump cap steak, but definitely not a wagyu rump cap steak, let alone a MB 8-9 one. I thought about complaining about this while I was at the restaurant, but this is not a quality issue. This could be viewed as an accusation, because I would tell them that they are delivering something different than what they are selling. If they think they do serve what they are selling (and I can only say it for this steak), they are either lying or being lied to. If they are being lied to, please, go to a specialized butcher, get a wagyu rump cap MB 8-9 and compare with what you have. The different is gigantic. If you're going to this restaurant because of anything else in the menu, you should be ok. If you wanted to get this wagyu steak, I would tell you not to do that. For anyone who will respond to this comment, please know that I'm not trying to ruin your rating, but it's not fair for me to spend 110 dollars for two dishes and not having what I ordered. I'm sorry to add this comment here, but people...

Above average on most things (particularly the friendly male head waiter). The Location isn’t amazing being attached to a shopping centre (outside food court). this was just a planned quick after work dinner mid way through a long drive home however and so I was just needing to eat before continuing on my drive and got exactly what I expected. I’d like to add that having visited Spain many times, I wouldn’t consider the range on offer to be nearly on par with the usual Spanish tapas offerings. What we did order was quite tasty though. The patatas bravado was very average. Standout dish was definitely the charred broccoli. The croquettes which tasted very bland and looked commercial (but I may be wrong) were definitely not the best. All in all not a bad little place. Definitely didn’t disappoint and can’t complain for the price but not what I would consider classic Spanish tapas restaurant. I’d love to see some some more classics on the menu such as Plato Alpujarreno, Pulpo A Feira, Bocadillo de Calamares & churros to name a few. I’d come back just for the broccoli though so go ahead and judge...

What a beautiful restaurant! From the palatial setting , to the very warm and welcoming team. The food was 5 star . Dishes are all well balanced , perfect portions and divine flavours. We especially loved that the Chef advised our table of how we should have our steak prepared for it to be enjoyed as he wants the customers not to be disappointed! This was fantastic- especially that we had eaten at a 5 star steak house in Sydney only the week before and they served small cold steaks . We ordered several dishes & each and every one was a delight to eat & a feast for the eyes. Most importantly, you are not only greeted by the beautiful staff , but also the owner personally makes sure each of his guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire meal. You don’t just come for the absolute outstanding food , but also the fantastic experience given by the whole Toro team. This has now become our favourite restaurant in the Sunshine Coast and we can’t wait to start brining friends and family here. Price of all the dishes is extremely fair as well. Excellent value for money and a...

I’m from Europe and eat Spanish tapas frequently. I honestly would say that this is as good as the best Spanish food I’ve eaten in Spain. If I was in Spain and I found this restaurant I’d consider it to be 5 ⭐️ The interior is lovely, service was great, food was amazing. If you go to Maroochydore and you don’t visit this restaurant I’d say you missed out big time. Jamie the owner makes sure everything is top notch. I’m almost annoyed he doesn’t have a restaurant in Manchester as I’d go atleast twice a week. Price point was great too. Well done guys. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

Fantastic! The Sunshine Coast needs a little injection of authentic ethnic flavours and Toro gave us our fix of tapas. Croquettes and white bait to start ticked all the right boxes. Our favourite was the pipi’s and makes sure to add extra sourdough flatbread to mop up all the content greens parsley juice. Loved, loved, loved this dish! We finished with fried milk for dessert. A really great meal and we will definitely return next time we’re up here.
