The worst experience of my life. They called it a buffet for a limited number of oysters and lobsters. There were only 16 passengers on the ship, and everyone filled their stomachs with bread and refrigerated salad, wondering at the seafood that was not being refilled. The baked goods on the homepage were not seen at all, and the staff took away their plates and brought frozen cheesecake and watermelon, ignoring customers complaining about the few foods. Surprisingly, it was the whole $95 buffet. I ate two pieces of oysters here. If you want to take your $95 boat, go. The meal is only a service.
(((+++ I'm even angrier at the ridiculous answer, so I'm adding it. The seafood cruise staff wrote "Seafood Buffet," but only 13 passengers couldn't eat a small amount of Oyster and lobster. The seafood they claim to be left was just cheap shrimp with a smell, not left behind because the passengers were full, but were considerate of each other for too little. Don't try to ignore the passengers who were whispering at the time of boarding the ship and think about improving it. And make sure to correct the menu description on the homepage. There are only two kinds of bread, one refrigerated pasta, lettuce salad, and...
Read moreI was told to resubmit my review because I got a full refund. You could of kept the money and your really bad cruise. 3 laps of the canal and some cold meat. Nothing seafood about it. Read the fine print before booking. I know that the owner will reply with something negative, like I'm trying to take down a struggling business or I'm someone really bad. That's ok. You are not a seafood cruise if you don't serve seafood. Call it a lunch cruise when you serve cold meat and Coles roast chicken. As per your reply, I'm glad it is now all seafood on the lunch cruise, that's a perfect way to run a business as advertised. We'll done and I wish you all the best. Can't help but read the many negative reviews after mine though. I'm not trying to attack a small business owner, but every business starts out small. Then by listening to the consumer, grows to become the go to experience in a high tourist area. Take it as an...
Read moreLovely cruise around the Mooloolaba canals with a sunset view. Very nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive, however most of the food was average at best. 2 exceptions, the oysters were great, and the grilled fish was very nice. The prawns and crab were almost flavourless. The potato and pasta salads looked and tasted like Coles/Woolworths type, and the fresh Garden salad was ordinary. No air conditioning on the boat at all, and not a great deal of air movement at times made is rather uncomfortable at times. If the boat has a P.A. system, then the Captain didn't use it, and most people couldn't hear what he said the few times he spoke. Drinks were fair pricing. If you are really coming for the scenic view then you will enjoy this cruise. If the food is a part that you want to enjoy, then I would try somewhere else. Again, the staff...
