Sneaky Baron — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Wow is all I can say, as a professional business coach and mentor, these guys had it all wrong. So my wife daughter and I went there this morning about 8.00am (Fathers Day) for a coffee and a light meal. So we got there, nice surrounding so a good start, then it went down hill, so we ordered, 1 flat white, 1 hot chocolate and 1 iced chocolate, and 3 bacon and egg rolls. A easy non complex order one would think. First up we wated about 20 min for drinks , when they came out staff apologised for the wait due to a staff injury earlier that morning. And when they did get the drinks to us they missed the iced chocolate. My daughter went to the counter and turns out they never added to the order, so my daughter reordered her drink. We then noticed clients who came in and orded after us were getting there more complex meals served to them, but our 3 bacon and egg rolls were still not sent out, after about 35 minutes we complained to staff asking were our meals were, again staff apologised and came back with our meals. As for the food It was not worth the wait at all, not much bacon on it at all, eggs hardly cooked and very very runny. And taste was very bland. Once we finished our food we still had to wait for our daughter iced chocolate, when it arrived it was badly made as our daughter is a professional barista she said if she had served it to any of her clients she would have her ass kicked by her boss. We left at this point and deciding never to go back.

Now we accept they had dramas with a work place injury, and they were busy and behind the 8 ball. But still we are sadly not able to give more than a 1 star rating based off our experience. We do note there are many positive reviews, however it was not a positive experience for us, and hope the business in the future has a lot less reviews like...

Been coming here now the last 1 & now 2nd yr only a few times but every time I've enjoyed being there, the crew are friendly, laid back feel but at times the serious punk rock music comes on BOOM brings me back to my High School times growing up in Casino with the Boy'zzzz as I was & still am a TomBoy. Food loved every order that i have had there so far. The ribs are my go too, the flavours OMG, let the dish speak for it self, no words needed truly just order it, then see visually, then smell & the best to last TASTE dammm,,,, hits the right SPOT every time. The slaw works so perfectly subtle flavours, it doesn't over ride the flavours towards the ribs, the combo works perfectly together. Tried this rhubarb Gin with tonic!!!! ello all you Gin Lovers out there, this is truly next level of Gin... Dangerous as it was soooo delish & so refreshing. I could close my eyes & see & taste of Bali back in the days sitting by the pool outside my villa sipping on gin or cocktails... Go say hi to the Crew in Sneaky Baron, oh they have video games pin ball games, seen ppl brought there dogs there, plenty of kids, all ages, everyone is welcomed. Be weary of there app you order through, once you select your burger there’s the add topping section I added cheese and lettuce. I drive there to pick up my order, drive home get comfy throw a movie on open my burger and there’s my burger patty sitting on 3 pieces of lettuce I didn’t know what was going on. I called the store they had no idea either they took my mobile number said they would call me back in 10 minutes. 23 minutes went by and nothing so I called them, for them to tell me that I ordered it this way a burger with no bun but instead lettuce as my bun. No. I would never order a meat burger with a lettuce leaf replacing the bun.. any way I head back to the store where I am told no refund and no replacement. Well now I need to speak to the owner as the manager did not want to help me. Once the manager called the owner the burgers were replaced so simply and easily but it was such a lengthy process and absolutely ruined our appetite.
