Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Experience

I recently dined at momo’s and unfortunately, it was far from an enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, things started going downhill.

The service was painfully slow. Despite the restaurant being half-empty, it took nearly 15 minutes just to get water and menus. Our server seemed distracted and disinterested, and every step of the process—taking our order, delivering drinks, and finally bringing the food—was an exercise in patience.

When the food finally arrived, it was a letdown. My meal was bland and poorly seasoned, and the ingredients didn’t taste fresh. The main dish was overcooked, leaving it dry and tough, while the sides were lukewarm at best. My dining companion’s order was wrong, and when we pointed it out, it took another 20 minutes to correct it, with no apology.

The atmosphere didn’t do much to redeem the experience. The lighting was harsh, and the music felt out of place, making the whole setting feel uncomfortable.

Overall, this was a disappointing visit. Slow service and subpar food made it hard to find anything redeeming about the experience. I wouldn’t recommend Momo”s and won’t be returning...

Have you ever been to 8848 House-Sunshine Coast? If not, you have certainly missed a great time with absolutely incredible mouth-watering dumplings 🥟 and typical Nepali cuisines.

Fast and convenient service by cordial staff at affordable price is impeccable whereas musical taste in the evening is beyond someone’s imagination. This is why I remember Sunshine Coast for! Can not wait to jump in there again!

I don’t find 8848 Momo House- Sunshine Coast a peculiar place rather it seems like Nepal’s typical restaurant with supreme blend of taste 👅 with quality best!

As per my experience thus far, I can assure you that you will be quenched fully and it will definitely not disappoint you !

Very disappointment regarding our recent visit to 8848 momo house Maroochydore . We ordered two plate momos and a “ Curry in Hurry Nepalese Chicken Curry”, but the curry dish served looked and tasted exactly like butter chicken and rice. I raised this concern with the waitress, who checked with the chef and informed me that this is how Nepalese curry is made at your restaurant. I didn’t want to create a scene since I was dining with my 5-year-old, who was hungry and tired, so we went ahead and finished our meal. After reviewing the menu and prices, I’m quite sure we were served the kids’ butter chicken and rice ($12) instead of the Nepalese chicken curry ($19). That means we were charged $7 more for a different dish. I’d appreciate it if you could please look into this matter and advise whether we were mistakenly served the wrong meal. We will appreciate...
