CK Coffee Bar & Wholefoods — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

So disappointing! I used to go to CK Wholefoods all the time when they were in Mooloolaba and loved their paleo toast and food in general. Finally came to see their Maroochydore location and was so disappointed. Not only were the staff extremely unfriendly, and flat out told me they didn’t do the paleo bread anymore without offering any alternative. We then sat down to wait for our food for over 20 mins… and saw another few people get their food who had ordered after us. Then a waitress came to check what we were waiting on and told us our order had been “lost”. To her credit she offered us coffees whilst we waited, however we then waited another 20 minutes for our food to finally come out and what we got was terrible. The toast was barely toasted and cold, the bacon was undercooked and we literally got 1 piece of bacon… and the food was cold. So disappointed with the whole experience, will not...

I am not someone to write negative reviews, however we were so disappointed with our experience here. I had really been looking forward to going, as I had heard great reviews from when they were in Mooloolaba..and as a person with coeliac disease I always get excited with wholefood cafes that have a big range of GF fresh food. The menu looked good online. I was disappointed with the rainbow bowl I received..the purple cabbage & stir-fried vegetables unfortunately weren't fresh & almost looked to be out of a supermarket package. There was a tiny spoon of quinoa drenched in a sauce. The mushroom on top was nice, however that was all I really ate..& I am someone who almost never leaves an empty plate :( Maybe our expectations were too high, or we just happened to come on a bad day, but we unfortunately won't be...

My partner and I went out for breakfast this morning and chose to try CK as it is close by. Unfortunately we did not have a great time. It started with rude service at the counter when ordering and not having anyone to make the drink my partner asked for from the menu. Then on food arrival, after asking for two hard-poached eggs, she received one flat fried egg. After asking to have that changed and for her to be given the correct order she was given two soft-poached Egss thrown on top of the fried egg, which were pre-made (I saw the chef get them from a bowl next to him and put them on the plate). So not only could she not get her drink that was advertised on the menu, but then her order was incorrect twice even after asking for it to be fixed. Really unhappy with the...
