I rate this place 4 out of 5 for the following reasons; Firstly, Mooloolaba (derived from the word "mulla" which means schnapper fish in Aboriginal), went with family and friends. We sat outside which was a little gusty. Service; Service is friendly, place your order with the cashier, pay, grab your number and find a seat. On this occasion it was a balmy summers night, therefore my group chose to enjoy the view and sit outside to enjoy the view of the Mooloolah River. Food came for all of us in a good amount of time. Food; We all ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon with green salad and french fries. and the children had children's meal of fish n chips. Plate came and everything looked good, tasted good and was nice and hot (I have situations when the food arrived and it was not hot/which is a real downer to any meal) Cleanliness; Place looked good and clean. Value for money; The Tavern has a good area for children to play pool and play slot machines and a kids games area - whilst the adults can sip on champagne, wine, beer, or whatever you fancy. I enjoyed being at this place, relaxing, enjoying the food. All up my meal was around 26.00 (I do not drink), so this amount is not including drinks. I Would go back. Vibe; Good place to come if you have children, due to the play area for the kiddies. I...

Very average pub. Customer service was poor and staff were not friendly. Only one chef for a large pub for lunch service is not enough. We had rotten tomato in a salad and received scallops the size of a pea, we were so shocked we were speechless. $15 for 4 pea size scallops is a joke. The rest of the meals were edible but not great. Chips were terrible. Wine menu is terrible unless you like cheap and awful tasting wine. Also wine on the menu was not available. The only positive about this pub is the location. I won’t be back, it’s a shame because the location is great. I have been to many ALH Group pubs and they have been great, there is always one bad apple and this pub is it. There were visible maintenance issues that have not been addressed with the ceiling. A change in management is needed to implement a major overhaul of training, procedures, quality control and...

Thank you for being open on Good Friday. I felt that they were up against it. Very busy. They were upfront about the over an hour food delay. The platter when it arrived was quite tasty, however, it did promise veggie patties that did not arrive. Disappointing as we had vegetarians in our group who were looking forward to that and had to be happy with the chips. The jug of mojito that rocked up was disgusting, tasted like, and was perhaps, lemon squash with some dark green sludge masquerading as mint swimming amongst the ice cubes. Questionable as to containment of any alcohol. On return to the bar, the staff quite amiable and replaced the drinks. Overall, the experience wasn't great but it wasn't the worst and we can be...

The Wharf tavern is an ALH pub and as you would expect with the largest pub chain in Australia it had the usual consistent service, short food wait times and a very clean environment. The meals we ordered were were okay, probably above my expectations based on other ALH experiences on the first visit on a Thursday however the food standard dropped on Saturday when it was much busier. We had a seat by the water both evenings and as expected Thursday was a nice quiet evening and Saturday was extremely busy.

Perfect location sitting out on the deck looking over the picturesque marina and watching the sunset. Our meals were generous portions, my steak was tender, flavoursome and cooked to perfection, my wife’s fish was fresh and full of flavour. Staff are friendly and service was quick. Prices are matched well to meals, worth a visit if your looking for somewhere to relax and watch the sunset as the world passes you by

Great place for a beer and feed. Lovely views and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent staff and dog friendly on the outside area. Big thank you to Tegan who brought my boy a bowl of water and a pat. Everytime Ive come here the staff and vibe have been wonderful.
