2 Blondes Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Have never been to this cafe before. So my visiting son and I basically went because it seemed to be one of the few cafes open at 10 am between Christmas and new year. Also we managed to score a table which was the main problem in springwood that day as well. Anyway, being outside on a table in a side arcade in the fresh air was great, making it quiet and private and the server was accomodating and super friendly. Our coffees were delicious and hot and our banana bread was homemade, not sickly sweet and served with lots of butter as I requested . We were not rushed away even though they were busy. I have been coming to this lovely Cafe since the 2 blondes were actually two blondes. The food is tasty and the coffee delicious. I had read a review some time ago, stating that the service was unfriendly and I always thought this unfair. Despite receiving a very warm welcome today, when I got my order it was very abruptly thrown down in front of me with the waitress returning to the Cafe just as my plate touched the table! I found this very confronting! If I had been a new customer I would declare I would never go back there.

Great coffee and offers homemade meals and pastries. It is a small cafe that offers intimacy and beautiful ambience in the Old Bakery Arcade, away from the busyness of the main street. Staff are very friendly. Limited space for seating inside with more seating outside in the arcade itself. It offers takeaway too, of course.

The cafe offers daily whiteboard specials of light meals, soups, and the like. A selection of cakes is available.
