⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A New Gem in Merrylands West!
We had the best experience at this newly opened restaurant in Merrylands West! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the professional and polite staff, making us feel valued and well looked after throughout our visit.
The atmosphere is amazing, with a beautifully designed interior that feels both cozy and modern. The music is perfectly selected, creating a lively yet relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer and enjoy every moment.
And the food… wow! Every dish was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented, with prices that are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get. It’s the kind of place where you can confidently order anything from the menu and know it will be delicious.
We were also impressed with the timely service, with food arriving at a comfortable pace that allows you to chat and enjoy your drinks while waiting.
A standout feature is their separate, stylish Shisha space, perfect for Shisha lovers to relax and enjoy their time with friends in a dedicated area while others can enjoy their meals comfortably.
It’s also a fantastic venue for parties and birthdays, with plenty of space and a welcoming environment that makes gatherings feel special and fun.
Parking is never an issue here, with lots of car spaces right at the front and even more available at McDonald’s next door, making your visit stress-free from start to finish.
Highly recommend this place if you want to try something new, delicious, and enjoyable in Merrylands West. We can’t wait to...
Read moreA true celebration of Middle Eastern flavors! From the moment we started with the Kebbe Nayyeh, we knew we were in for something special — freshly minced raw lamb blended with Lebanese spices, served with olive oil, fresh herbs, radish, and nuts. Each bite was fresh, aromatic, and perfectly balanced.
The Hummus and Baba Ghanouj were creamy and rich, with that perfect smoky and garlicky punch, while the Labne paired beautifully with crispy fried bread — a must-try combo for any dip lover.
For mains, the Makanek (Lebanese Sausage) had that authentic pan-fried flavor with a tangy pomegranate molasses drizzle that elevated the dish. The Arnabeet (Fried Cauliflower) was light, crispy, and complemented by tahini and pomegranate — simple but unforgettable.
The Royal Mix Shawarma Plate was generous, with perfectly shredded lamb and chicken in fresh saj rolls accompanied by creamy sauces and chips. The Lamb Shank Mansaf was tender, fragrant, and comforting — traditional done right.
The Alturath Mix Plate offered a little bit of everything: lamb, chicken, and kafta skewers served with hummus, baba ghanouj, tabouleh, grilled veggies, and chilli bread, each skewer packed with flavor.
The ambiance of Al Turath adds to the experience, with warm lighting and a welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for gatherings or a casual feast. Every dish we tried felt authentic, fresh, and thoughtfully presented.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore authentic Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine...
Read moreStumbled across this gem when I was searching for a central location to book Father's Day lunch for 11 adults & 4 kids. Beautifully designed inside with traditional Middle-Eastern decor. We opted for the $49 banquet which had a huge variety of dishes. Once they started bringing out the dishes, it kept coming hot and fast, we couldn't keep up. There was never a time where we were waiting for the next course. Everything tasted amazing, but the stand-out for me was the fantastic customer service from Randah and Belal. Please thank them on my behalf & ensure their efforts are recognised. They were both very accommodating & would quickly attend to any requests we had, but most importantly, every interaction was coupled with a smile and a friendly response. I genuinely felt the vibe of a family-run business here. For me, this is equally as important as the food, and I wish more restaurants would understand this - no matter how good the food is, having warm & welcoming staff is paramount. Just one small suggestion / honest feedback, would be to include a bit more of the skewers meats as part of the banquet menu, even if it means slightly reducing another dish size. For example I didn't end up tasting the kafta myself, but there was so much other food that I didn't mind at all. Plenty of food overall, we still had leftovers, so absolutely no issue with quantity overall. We left feeling very full & satisfied. I look forward to returning again soon....
