# 37 Noodle/udon with seafood broth ($13 dine in) # 66 Tofu sauté with salt and pepper ($11 takeaway) It has been awhile since I was last here so I decided to pay a visit to see if things are still the same. I was served some jasmine tea after I placed my order. Unfortunately, the cup was dirty, so I asked for another one. The older non-smiling waitress gave me a clean replacement without an apology. The udon dish was ok. The texture of the udon and the consistency of the broth was spot on. There were two small pieces of broccoli in it. I don't know whether it was meant to be there. The cook must have been too quick with his hands and put it in by mistake. The pieces of coliflower and baby corn did a good job at mimicking the the texture of real crab pieces. Speaking of which the taste of the broth is almost like but not quite the real thing. While I was eating the udon another waiter, on his wait to serve other customers, brushed by my table and tipped the tea out of my cup and onto the table. He walked away without an apology. I see a familiar pattern here. After I finished the udon, I made my way to the cashier to pay and to take my takeaway. The older non-smiling waitress took my money but looked confused as to why I gave her more money than should've been. I explained that I had ordered the tofu dish. She put it in a bag and handed over to me. I thanked her and walked to a vacant table to inspect the content, where I thought a vegetable was missing. I asked the waitress and she showed me the menu and said, "It is what it is". No apologies were given as I made my way out of the door for the last time.

Amazing vegan food. Everything was as expected. Lemongrass chicken (tofu based) was particularly nice. So were the okra dish. Along with clean place and friendly customer service. Thank you

There's a couple of excellent vegetarian Vietnamese restaurants across Cabramatta (shoutout Loving Hut, Bo De Tam, Loving Lien, An Lac) but ask me which is the most popular on a Saturday and I'd probably give it to this place on the corner of @cabramattaplaza , An Nhien. In today's video, we reminisce what Cabra Plaza and all of the shops around Woolies used to look like way back then, and what they look like now! The butcheries glowed up. The computer shop became a grocery shop. The clothing store became a cake shop. The pharmacy on the corner became this vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant! I don't think any cuisine does Vegetarian as well as the Vietnamese do. The food itself is all about fresh herbs and vegetables, very colourful, very vibrant. Meat stock can be replaced with veg stock. The meat itself, instead of getting meat alternatives (of which there are though) can be replaced with tofu. It's pretty cool how good a taste you can get with, say, a vegetarian version of bĂșn riĂȘu, which is traditionally a tomato and crab-based noodle soup. Technically all you're taking out is the crab and pork in the soup, but the tomato flavour makes up for so much of it already. The best thing here in my opinion? The salted fish fried rice. I'd come back specifically for that, it tastes like the real thing! 📍 An Nhien, Cabramatta

We have been here often when the restaurant was still at the old location. The food was so good and served fast and prompt even when they were busy. Visited the new location first time today and gave me such a big let down. We came before dinner time so it was not busy at all, like 3 small tables around. We ordered an entree and 3 mains to eat with rice. One of the main come out first. We waited for a bit but no rice was given and no spoon either. They had like 4 floor staffs but all was too busy to talk to each other rather than serving customer. We had to wave one of them to ask for rice and find the spoon ourselves. Most of the dishes we ordered were our favorites so we were quite disappointed when we ate them today. The stewed fish was salty while the sauce in the stewed tofu and mushroom was runny, the stir-fry vegetable is oily and tasted blank. Then we ordered desserts, big mistake. My friends order coconut jelly, were served coconut juice (asked the staff and were told they out of jelly and decided just served us the juice anyway without confirming with us first), I got herbal dessert, the worst I've ever tasted, one sip then left the rest. The last disappointed thing is the price. Way smaller portion at city's price (My partner and I used to order 1 entree and 2 main to share between us and always have some left over to take home ~ $35, paid $75 today for 3 people and only half full). We know they move to a much better and bigger place so increasing price is understandable but come on at least remain the same size. We hope today was just our bad luck and the restaurant is still adjusting to the new place. We might come back but not anytime soon. P/s: 1 star for food and service today but extra star for the good food...
