I absolutely LOVE the food at this place but I rarely go and even if I do, I always feel nervous. Why? Because of HYGIENE. I honestly don't even want to write a review but I hope something changes at the store. The last 2 experiences I've had in the last 3 weeks are as follows -
I went in and the girl who took my order had her hair down, a chain bag on her shoulder and wearing a loose black zip hoodie (?). She looked like she was ready to leave/finish work and was talking to the people in the kitchen when I walked in so then she decided to serve me anyway, the fact that she was rushing to make my order seemed to prove that that was the case as well. Which is all fine, but then as she reached to get the sauce her sleeve was SO CLOSE to the food, it seriously made me anxious.
My most recent visit. The girl (different) who took my order coughed into her hand before she served me, she seemed abit sick. Was not wearing a mask. So then as she was making the food, specifically when she was scooping the rice into the bowl, a piece/chunk of rice dropped on the counter and she used her hand to pick it up and throw it back in the bowl then proceeded to quickly put the other seasonings/toppings into the bowl. At the time I was thinking whether to ask her to make it again and I WISHED that I did but as she was already onto putting the seasoning and toppings I just didn't want to be a bother. It makes me think about what happens in the back kitchen as well. This experience was the absolute last straw and I just can't anymore. Just thinking about it honestly bothers me.
I'm not criticising the food in anyway, just the hygiene and sanitation practice as well as the presentation of your employees. If the hygiene standards were up, I would absolutely go every week. But every time I go I pretty much have to work up the courage to do so since I don't know what I'm in for from your staff who don't seem very professional or are even aware of what hygiene/sanitation practises around food are. This should be especially important since you're serving raw fish/ingredients. I just hope I don't get sick in any way from my recent visit. Please provide...

Read moreI've never had any problems with Poke bros until today's experience and will never return. I came in today and had already ordered before hand but wanted to order extra items. I saw that there were people in front of me but soon realised they were just friends of the male employee working there and they just came to get FREEbies from pokebros. And they were waiting around and let me go first, but after ordering, the order was not being made, instead the guy asked his friends (2 of them and another one comes in later too) what fo they want on their free bowls instead of making my one which came first.
And to top it off, a phone order was made 10 min after i made my order and she came to pixk up her 2 bowls before I did when I only ordered 1 bowl whixh was yet to be made due to the guy giving out free bowls instead of serving paying customers. In total I had to wait around 20-30 min for 1 bowl which should have taken no more than 5 min like it usually would be.
The food wasn't fresh today as well and the rice was old. They never put cutlery in as well and I could never eat my takeaway on the go. And the amount of meat in the wagyu don whixh i tried today was ridiculous. It was 4 thin strips, finished them and still 90% rice left.... all...
