Bakers Delight Rockdale Plaza — Restaurant in Sydney

This isn't just a bad review for Rockdale BD, but for BD as a whole. They have now discontinued regular wholemeal bread.... Now you can only buy high fibre, low GI wholemeal. That costs $1 more. A whopping $5.70 per loaf. Now wholemeal bread is already high in fibre, so relabeling it as high fibre on top of low GI is misleading. And the response from their centralised customer service is- all stores are now required to carry the high fibre, low GI wholemeal bread, so they may choose to not make regular wholemeal bread anymore. It's corporate, franchising greed. It was already a luxury buying a $4.70 loaf of bread that I've been giving my child for the past 5 years as a healthy option for school lunches. I've been to this shop twice. The first time was 2 weeks ago for sliced bread. She actually told me that she didn't want to slice any more bread for the rest of the day. Today I again went to the store who I believe was the same girl. I waiting until the previous customer was served of which she then a advised me, sorry we are closed? Definitely will not be back. Worst service I have ever...

This would be one of the best and most consistent Bakers Delight stores... the bread and the bread rolls are always soft fresh and delicious... the staff are always very friendly and always happy to help... this place has the best customer service in the whole Plaza without a doubt... today I bought the new Sea Salt Turkish Loaf ... wow it is so...
