Bankstown Kebab House — Restaurant in Sydney

As a loyal customer who has been coming here for quite some time, I am extremely disappointed with the service we received recently. We ordered fish and chips, and the server gave us just one sauce. For a meal like fish and chips, one sauce is definitely not enough. When we asked for an extra sauce, the server told us we had to pay $2 for it, which is absurd considering most places charge only 50 cents for additional sauce. This kind of service is not acceptable, especially towards regular customers. The fact that we were treated this way makes it clear that customer service is lacking. Sauce should be provided in a way that complements the meal, not with such restrictions. People should be treated with respect, especially when they are making a reasonable request. Cannot fault the food here it was very nice. The issue I had was ordering something that was on the menu for $10 and being told if I wanted it made fresh as they had none pre made it was $2 extra. So to have something made it costs $2, do you add $2 to all items? Kebabs? There is several great kebab shops nearby, check them out.

I clarified with the staff member why I was paying extra and it was because what I wanted was not available pre made, it was actually rung up as sauce x 2 on each order, I advised I didn’t need/want sauce, still charged. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and believe what I encountered might be illegal. After a long day at work, I ordered a hamburger and chicken nuggets. While the hamburger was just a bit dry, my issue was with the chicken nuggets. I’m certain that what I received was not chicken at all. The texture was extremely chewy and impossible to eat, so I broke it open, only to find what looked and felt like a deep-fried, breaded styrofoam-like substance. This was absolutely shocking.
