The Coffee Club Café - Bankstown RSL — Restaurant in Sydney

Although my experience a few wks ago in store was a delight, having ordered through ubereats yesterday was an absolute nightmare.

Firstly, I had ordered the big breakfast and maple pancakes (requested with cream on the side) and paid for an extra hashbrown.

However, it had arrived with no scrambled eggs? The main ingredient in any breakfast recipe which was a shocker at that point. But then to open up my pancakes to find the cream had been placed next to the pancakes which obviously would cause it to melt and be completely inedible. Common sense would’ve seen the cream being put in to the same t/a container the maple syrup was packaged in and no sign of my extra hasbrown 🤦🏽‍♀️

I called to raise this issue with two different store members and I appreciate the apology but after being told by one of the girl’s to claim a refund via ubereats app to then have it being knocked back saying it’s not eligible for the refund is just disappointing. I paid close to $60 for this whole meal. A rip off when it’s being sent through incomplete and not up to the standard it normally would have been had it been in store. Got here 'by accident' looking for mid-day feed for family...... Chef Arah and Ruby from front of house were absolutely amazing. Food was gorgeous, quick and my bacon was perfectly cooked. The chef had a few dockets, yet our food was prompt and well cooked. Chef herself brought out the dessert for us and that made the entire experience so much special. Ruby, perfect sales personality, very accommodating and good with up-selling and recommending products. Good knowledge of menu and ingredients....very friendly too.

Simple place but having great staff like them, lifts the standards of a venue. Well done...

We gave this place several opportunities to improve and things never did. We had a waitress swear in front of our kids and she always gets our order wrong week after week and she still has a job. The chef seems to keep changing and food isnt worth the money at all. Half of it tastes frozen and reheated and undercooked. Or if you ask for crispy bacon you get burnt black bacon. The only good thing about this place are the Tongan ladies who keep apologising and are so nice if you're lucky enough to get thwm to serve you. Everyone else deserves to be fired. Dont waste your...
