Wouldn't bother going here for anything :) Absolutely terrible. My father in law Booked an event 2 months ago for his 50th birthday. He arrived and they didn't have anything set up for it and had no idea about it. There were at least 40 people coming, they had to run around put us all on different tables completely away from eachother. We were advised that the person who took the booking wasn't there and they weren't made aware of it ? ( maybe you should invest in an events booking system or book. As this shouldn't even be an issue if they aren't there ) Then we all went to order and were told the chefs are overwhelmed and they won't be taking any further orders! Are you joking?! That was terrible, they weren't sorry at all and didn't apologise or even try and sort anything out, after everyone being annoyed regarding the situation they said they would put some orders through. So a few people got up to go and order then they cut us off again after 2 orders :)))) So some people ordered and some didn't. We went up and spoke with the manager and said we are with the function and they said we can squeeze it through but it would be an hour to an hour and a half in a way of trying to get us not to order, no apologies no nothing, not sincere about this at all. We said we will still be here then anyway as we are here for a function so we aren't leaving anytime soon? And she just smiled in a way that wasn't nice. After half the table waiting an hour some people's buzzers started to go off so they went to grab it and it would be one meal or two and not others ? And they said they will only be making fast meals such as pastas and steaks, so for pizzas and some burgers you will have to wait until after the other meals ? So people that ordered anything else got food and others waited an hour and a half after their family had eaten just for a pizza or burger! đ why not tell people cause a lot of us had travelled so far for this and were starving ! Put a sign up for people to be aware of the wait ! My father in law and a few others just got their money back after everyone started to head off as it had been 3 hours since arrival due to the whole craze of everything đ he left hungry from his own function! Was just astounding, horrible service and terribly run. As a worker who has worked in hospitality and managed venues for 6 years, I never write anything and I am always happy to wait and I'll never write a review, I understand what it feels like to be under the pump, but just the way it was handled, no apologies, no nothing to my father in law, no complimentary drinks or anything for my father in laws function being totally ruined. We will not be returning and how we were made to feel like a burden, this is deserving...
   Read moreAm so impressed with the Team at the Bath Arms. They were so welcoming, hospitable and went above and beyond. I went in on a Friday night to inquire about what I thought would be an impossible task, if they could accomodate my daughters 5th birthday party, of 20 people, the day after! Ian was so helpful, communicated with me back and forth very readily and everything was organised that evening. Beth in the resteraunt was willing to work with me on my request for hawiian pizza, even though it wasn't on the menu! The food was so yum and everyone was very impressed. Jason our server accomodated every request and in such a speedy manner. I cannot recommend highly enough. Additionally, the kids playground is the perfect size, bigger than the shopping centre climb throughs and less scary than the Bunnings leveled ones. PLUS it is indoors (for when it is raining and/or cold) and enclosed by a door so you don't have to hear the kids playing! Plus the dining area is beautifully decorated.
