3.4 - Ooh Much better today for food compared to last time but service and atmosphere was a bit of a shocker. Wontons were amazing - large, fresh, authentic ingredients, noodles springy and duck delicious, in the sauce. We all received a house soup. However, I was served by a waitress eating her lunch so she would speak to me with her mouth closed, holding food inside it (Better than having it open I guess - and certainly more considerate!). I had to wait while she hung out with a table of others before I could order. Disappointed about the tiny serving of duck that was served with my Noodle Soup and I had to share my table with a pretty gross lady, which really put me off. Everyone reading: make sure you come with someone or you get stuck watching somebody gum through their duck, spit out their chewed vegetables, and clear their throat every 2 seconds! Good value and enjoyable if you go with someone, or don't mind sharing with whoever walks on in.
BBQ One is a Hong Kong style eatery that mainly caters to take away customers and has limited seating for a quick meal. The food here is consistently good and the service is typically stoic. The take away half chicken, for eg, is great value at $6.50, which includes a complimentary dipping sauce.
A sit down meal of combination deep fried noodles, for eg, costs $15.00. It consists of beef, chicken, pork and ALWAYS two fat prawns, green chinese veg, baby corn, water chestnut, carrot and broccoli - a generous serving that will leave you satisfied. Also included is a complimentary bowl of delicious soup and tea or lemon water, depending on the season.
Some people here that complain about the extra charge for sauce fail to mention the complimentary soup and drink with the eat-in meal or the complimentary, tasty and generous dipping sauce provided with a take away meal. These people are so quick to bemoan that things "could always be better" rather than count their blessings and realize how much worse life could be. The same type of people could win the lottery and complain about having to go and pick up the cheque!

Read moreone of my regular no more. bought half a duck and a thin box of crunchy skin roast pork combined with red sausage. The duck is not nice anymore this time. this time the issue is the person who chopped the roast gave me at least three pieces of bones the size of chicken winglet drumstick in my roast pork that took up 30% of the roast pork in the box. which means i get less meat. i have never encountered such a practise in any bbq roast shop take out in my whole life where they gave u so many pieces of bones at one time. the quality of the roast meat this time was also vey bad cut. so buyers beware of this practise next time you buy from this shop. i wont be back ever after so many years of going to them. is a disappointment. i will rather stand at a long queue at the other Eastwood roast take away only. i also notice same practise done to another buyer in the Google review. so is pretty bad...
