Bella Pasta Co. — Restaurant in Sydney

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who had dined here before the management/name change. However, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the Spicy Prawn Mariana pasta expecting a mild kick of spice (as you normally would with pasta), but it turned out to be excessively spicy. While I have a high spice tolerance, I would caution those expecting a milder flavor. The dish lacked any distinct flavor other than the overpowering chili.

My partner ordered the Carbonara, which was a complete departure from any Carbonara we have ever tasted or seen. It lacked the expected creaminess and was surprisingly bland. How unfortunate!

Although the staff was friendly, they also appeared somewhat disorganized, resulting in a wait of more than 20 minutes for our dishes. Despite finishing our meals, we were still left feeling hungry. In my opinion, the cost of the food did not align with its quality.

I was taken here for my birthday and it was the worst experience and place i’ve ever been to. Firstly the wait for food was over an hour and there was literally 3 other tables in the restaurant and that’s fine understandable however the worst part was the food. I ordered the the grilled lemon garlic (toum) chicken with a side of chip and salad. After the longest wait I got my meal and was sooooooo disappointed and i barely ate it! the dish did not taste like garlic nor did it taste of lemon. secondly my chicken was definitely not grilled it was liked boiled poached the texture was that hospital meat texture if you know what i mean! the best part of the meal was the hot chips and that’s all i ate! We loved it the first 2 times. 1st time we did take out and had an amazing food&service experience. 2nd time we did take out but went as a family to order. Really great food and service that we wanted to come back again and dine in some time. The manager (not sure if owner?) there was so lovely too. Was really hoping this would be our new local Italian restaurant...

We ordered another x2 take out and saw inconsistency. Pizza size was smaller than first 2 times. The pizza had ingredients missing.. was very disappointing.. Flavours are great and pastas are good.
