Very disappointed this evening. I visit this venue at least twice a week. Always happy with the food quality I have to admit. But growth in the business meant that the owners are not at the the front like before. I made a phone order tonight. They don't cater for kids like other venues do. I wanted a cheese burger meal but the burger they have has got the full.monty. I only wanted paddy, cheese and rom sauce, and ordered 2 of those. They charged me 15 dollars for the meal and 8.50 for the single burger . That's 23.50for a child to eat. Then I ordered 2 falafel rolls. Every where you go they come with a choice of sauce. I had to pay for hummus. Then I told them to take out the pickles and instead put a couple of chips inside. They charged me extra for the 2 chips also. When I questioned that she just laughed. Mind you she forgot to tell me that I had 2 drinks included , so I grabbed the food forgetting the drinks. She did not forget to add the hummus and the chips bur, neither did she forget to charge me $15 for a urgent that had take out most staff and only left with cheese and tomato sauce. Disappointed and felt being...
Read moreRelaxed setting, excellent customer service and very good food. I ordered the 1/4 chicken, chips, tabouleh and hummus plate but asked to swap the hummus for baba ghanoush, the server happily obliged with no additional cost.
The chicken piece was large, moist and flavourful, fries were hot, fresh and well seasoned. I especially liked the tabouleh as they did not skimp on the lemon and it was actually quite tasty.
Let down was the shish sandwich. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, it just lacked filling. Had this sandwich had more chicken, tabouleh (extra cost $1) and more pickles etc. I would have given this place a 5/5.
Would I recommend? Absolutely! Would I come back again? Most definitely!
Overall a very good experience. Thank you La Mono for a pleasant experience. It isn't often that a lebanese restaurant impresses me. So a...
Read moreTake-away prices are cheaper than dine in prices for all items. For example, half chicken take-away price is $9 but dine in price is $12.5. You should decide what you want. Another thing is that minimum EFTOS is $20. So please keep cash with you, if you wanna order less than $20. I wanted to order take away whole chicken which costs $16.5 but I had to order small fries for $5 to meet $20 EFTOS policy. I don't think small fries should cost $5 anyway. Additionally, the chicken was over salted. If I ate it at that place, I could ask for change but I ordered that takeaway and thus could not provide them feedback. The place is neat and clean. The Dine in menu has more items than take away items. Whatever items are on the register board are for take-away order. They have a dine-in menu to hand over to you if you...
