Betty's Burgers — Restaurant in Sydney

On a cloudy day the kids and I took the wifey out to Betty's. It was her birthday. She turned 67, I'm 28. Anyways, as we walked in, a smell of burgers filled the air. I was ready to order. The kids wanted burgers, the wifey fries, and I, I wanted alcohol. I walked up to the counter and confidently screamed: I want 5 coffees mixed with rum! An arrogant looking blonde lady told me: "We don't serve alcohol here sir." I was about to completely lose it. I had just lost my job working as a german teacher and my favourite student Ilya had abandoned me forever. "I WANT MY-" But before I could continue, the posture of a tall, confident, beautiful, shining man distracted me. It was manager Beau. "Hi there sir. You wanted alcohol? Totally understandable, excuse my colleague. She's new here. Come with me please." Manager Beau, looking as glorious as ever, took me to a secret room. "It's going to be alright" He whispered. He invited another man to come into the room. The man handed me some bottles of wine and betty's beer and explained to me where the wines came from. "This one is from the Andes mountains, near the Champagne region in the south of France." He quickly walked away and tripped as he exited the room. "Aaaaaa, t*fus zooi! Excuse me boys."

Betty’s Burgers has a good system going which works. You walk in and find your own table, and when you’re ready you walk up to the order point and place your order at the till, you’re then given a little electronic buzzer which beeps when your food is ready and you walk up and collect it from a window and take it to your table. So you sit yourself down, place the order yourself and take the food to the table yourself. This system frees up the team behind the counter to do an amazing job at customer service and working together to get the drinks and food ready for takeaways and diners sitting in. Everyone was mucking in and helping and it got the orders out quickly. The team were also smiling and cheery the whole time in front of customers and with each other back of house, it’s a good little system that works really well and they seem to have expanded since the last time we visited a few years ago. They have a good selection on the menu including plant burgers, so something for everyone, i had chicken and my partner had the Bettys Deluxe, and we had sides of fries each. It was cooked promptly and both meals tasted really nice with a good portion of fries. Would definitely recommend, nice atmosphere, nice food and...

As a vegetarian, finding delicious plant-based options can be a challenge, which is why I was excited to visit BB. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. My order was prepared incorrectly, with meat instead of the plant based patty I had requested.

When I politely went to the counter to inquire about the mistake, I was met with rudeness from Tiffany, who blamed me for their error. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, especially when bringing up a legitimate concern.

It's disappointing that Tiffany's attitude has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning to this location. As a fan of BB's tasty veggie burgers, it's unfortunate that one negative experience has impacted my perception of the restaurant.

I hope that BB's management takes steps to ensure that their staff provides excellent customer service in the future, as this can greatly impact a customer's overall dining experience. As for me, I will be seeking out other establishments that value their vegetarian customers and provide...
