Dined here briefly as a couple in the late afternoon on 25th January 2024 before flying out to Melbourne on Jetstar from gate 54.

We selected the 150gm wagyu steak sandwich and the salt and pepper calamari along with a Stella Artois and a Lemon Lime and Bitters. The drinks were served immediately and we were given a buzzer for when our meals had been prepared. We were fortunate to locate a couple of seats looking out over the tarmac and planes that were coming and going.

A short while later the buzzer alerted us that our meals were awaiting collection but no sooner it had sounded and one of the staff delivered our meals to us. Both meals were served with a generous side of potato chips and the calamari was served with a salad and a sweet chilli sauce. The steak sandwich was thoroughly delicious and I’m told the calamari was too.

Airport food and drinks can be a bit pricey to be fair and while there are more budget friendly options we enjoyed our meals and drinks.

I’d definitely...

Ducked here for a quick lunch break before my partner and I board for a flight. Service was wonderful, however the food was quite average. I ordered the Scotch filet 150g with chips and salad. I asked for medium rare and it was basically cooked well done. I didn’t expect it to be so thin either, for $30 it is questionable. I did order an 1 egg and they came out with an extra one which is a bonus! I chose my eggs to be fried, however, I wish there was an option to choose between runny, cooked well etc for the egg.

My partner ordered wedges which were very tasty and had a great portion! Timing for food was...

I Dont Get The Point Of Saying You Bar/Bistro Is Open 6am Till 10pm ... When at 6:26am i was sitting right next to the bar and had food i was eating get stuck in my chest area i approached your bar in the domestic terminal only after water to wash it through only to find no one around and a guy yell out from the bistro part that they weren't open yet . I asked can i just have water and he turned away and chatted to his friend another worker ... really pathetic service and false advertising ... to bad if i was actually choking ... if i could give zero...

Found my way here due to one of those 'promotions' and a nagging stomach. The food was ok but the service, while very friendly, was extremely haphazard. Card readers didn't work, beer was forgotten (It was a three item order), provided with one of those buzzy 'come and get your order' things but my 'bacon and egg panini' was yelled across the cafe anyway. So three trips to the bar! Coffee, panini and chase up the 🍻. Not much for $37.00, not relaxing but then again it is Sydney airport...
