Oporto Sydney Airport T2 — Restaurant in Sydney

I usually love Oporto's, but this was a very strange and disappointing experience. A younger lady was lively and took our order efficiently. However, when I returned to pick up the order, an older Asian lady completely ignored me despite my clear attempts to signal that I had a question. A bag was sitting there without anyone claiming it.

She prioritised another man who came after me, speaking to him while I waited behind, then went to the back without addressing me. After a while, she came back to the front but started talking to another worker stocking the fridge, still ignoring me. When she finally approached my area, she bypassed me again to greet another lady behind me.

When I directly asked about my order (181), she casually said it was still being made. Another 15 minutes passed before I asked again, and she looked at the order that had been sitting there the entire time, only to say, 'Yep, 181.'

When my wife commented that we had already asked her about the order, her only response was, 'Yeah.' This lack of communication and dismissive attitude left us...

I’m a regular OPORTO’s customer, since the first store back in Bondi, matter of fact.. also a loyal customer, and loyalty programme member. Today’s server was Diva Today’s service was sub-par, definitely not something I’m accustomed to with the OPORTO brand, OR the stores I regularly visit. Diva looked bored, her tone and manner were not warm or friendly. She looked like it was going about the motions, not consciously engaged or inviting. She proceeded to try and upsize me, without asking did I want to upsize. Her rudeness increased and she became frustrated with the transaction, moving off whilst I was stating that I’m a loyalty member. Her swift, dismissive response was that the airport does not support that loyalty program. Maybe so? You could at least offer an upsize? Maybe Diva was in a rush to knock off? Who knows? Either way I’m disappointed with the service here today, and will not return service or patronise this...
