Today was my first visit to this café, and it was shockingly disappointing. While waiting for my coffee, a staff member splashed water onto my face while washing cups. What shocked me even more was their reaction. When I pointed out what had happened, they casually said “sorry,” but it was clearly insincere and dismissive. Feeling disrespected, I asked for a proper apology. Instead of addressing the issue, the staff member became defensive and started arguing with me. This was already bad enough, but what followed was even worse. I approached the manager to explain the situation and requested a sincere apology. However, the manager, rather than showing professionalism, maintained a dismissive and rude attitude. They kept emphasizing that the staff member had already apologized, but it was done in such a careless and disdainful manner that it made me feel humiliated as a customer. As a paying customer, I didn’t ask for much—just a proper apology for something that wasn’t my fault. Yet, the way I was treated made me feel disrespected and unfairly mistreated. This experience left me deeply disappointed and upset. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this café unless they address their service issues and train their staff and management on basic customer respect and professionalism.

I have never ever encountered an experience this terrible at a cafe!! I ordered my coffee. Waiting for it, the workers were having a conversation in their language which clearly wasn’t English with the duty manager as stated on the gentleman’s name tag said Art. So I continued to wait as it may have been important but I then decided to ask where my coffee is, as they were all laughing and still talking in their language. They said really rudely to me it’s there on the counter so I said did you call my name out they go to me yeah we called it out and then started talking again amongst each other again. I was standing in front of the Counter and did not hear my name or the coffee I ordered called out. It’s bad enough the coffee is overpriced but that rudeness on top doesn’t make it any better at all. This situation could have been easily fixed if they were polite/friendly but they were too busy having their important conversation that they didn’t want anyone to know what they were talking about. Definitely won’t be coming back and will be telling all my colleagues, friends and family to go to any other cafe but that one!!! so so rude and my coffee was cold.

Should be called. SYDNEY COFFEE EXTORTS. Crappy and overpriced, arrogant and no idea. Double shot espresso that wasn't even a single shot. Only reason they're still in business is that its in an Airport with busy travellers. Customer service ZERO. A coffee machine button pusher that wouldn't be able to spell Barrista 👎 GO ELSEWHERE. OR MAYBE WAIT FOR A AIRLINE COFFEE THAT WILL PROBABLY TASTE BETTER AND ITS FREE. Zero Stars

We just had the worst customer service of our lives at this venue — all thanks to Jolina, who was shockingly rude and unprofessional.

We were sitting at the bar trying to order, but every single staff member had their backs to us. When we politely tried to get their attention, Jolina came over aggressively, accused us of being disrespectful, and even threatened to call security, claiming we were being “stupid” to her.

We were completely shocked. We hadn’t raised our voices, used any bad language, or done anything remotely inappropriate — we were just trying to get a drink like any other customer.

It’s honestly upsetting to be treated like that, especially in a hospitality setting. If that’s how this venue chooses to speak to its guests, we won’t be back — and we’ll make sure to spread the word.

Avoid at all costs if you expect even a basic level...
