Blue Lemon Sushi — Restaurant in Sydney

I recently came back from a year abroad and was excited to visit my favorite sushi place, Blue Lemon. Unfortunately, it looks like the restaurant has changed hands and it's not the same anymore. The prices have gone up considerably, and even though I understand there might be some inflation at play, it seems like a steep increase compared to what I remember. Moreover, the quality of the sushi is just subpar and nothing special, we even had a couple of rolls that were served cold, as if they had been taken from the takeaway fridge. All in all, it was a pretty disappointing experience. I'm really sad to see such a great sushi spot go downhill, and I'm not sure if I'll come back after this.

I am a regular customer but I was really disappointed today. I was overcharged, without knowing or realising until it was too late.

Today, I bought a bulgogi rice bowl, but the sign said $15 which was for the pork katsu, but there was no sign for the bulgogi. I also bought a veggie roll for $4.5. Therefore, the total cost should've been $19.50. Which already is fairly pricey, given the rice bowl was also very small in portion. When I got to the counter the lady said it was $22.33. I would've liked it if they had informed me that the sign was wrong, or that they would charge me extra surcharge.

Feedback for next time. Can you please make sure the signs are correct? and please tell the customer if there are extra costs e.g. surcharge. Thank you,...

Very dissapointing. This place used to be our go-to local Japanese, but it's not what it used to be. Was there with my partner today for lunch around 2pm. At the time, we were the only customers in the place. Even though there were 6-7 staff on, we had to prompt the staff to take our order after waiting 10minutes, and ask for water to go with the cups on our table. That aside - my main gripe is that my partner's meal never arrived... Even after waiting 30mins and enquiring with the wait staff who assured us it was coming. Overall - very poor service, and no concern or apology given by the staff for forgetting half our order. Needless to say - we will not...
