C9 Chocolate & Gelato Wahroonga — Restaurant in Sydney

We got a takeaway tub of gelato, just the 500ml since we're only around for a few days. Needless to say, this was the perfect amount as it was demolished in a couple sittings.

We got the pineapple and the strawberry cheesecake. The pineapple is vegan, and yet it has an amazingly creamy texture. The flavour is bang on, that nice tart and sweet pineapple goodness. The strawberry cheesecake is not vegan. It has a good strawberry jam swirled through a definite cheesecake ice-cream, with some biscuit crumbs scattered throughout. The strawberry jam was a bit less refined than some other gelato places, tasting a bit more like commercial bought jam as opposed to homemade strawberry jam.

I'd like to go back and try the rest of the fruit based...

Each flavor of ice cream I tried was a taste sensation, perfectly creamy and rich in flavor, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The coffee was equally impressive, with a perfectly balanced blend that was both robust and smooth. The ambiance of C9 is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual outing or a sweet treat. I had an amazing experience at C9 with my nephews! The açai was incredible—honestly, the “unbeatable texture” made it stand out (I don't fully understand Gen Z lingo these days, but that's what my nephews were raving on about, so it must’ve been good!). The service was exceptional, thanks to Rachel and Vicky. They were not only efficient but also so warm and welcoming. I even had a lovely conversation in Spanish that brought back memories of being at home. The atmosphere, the people, and the overall vibe were perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wholesome, friendly experience and top-tier açai! Can't wait...
