This cafe used to serve good coffee however it looks the quality is going down hill.
Prices are up, $6.20 for a large coffee 🤷♂️plus taste a bit bitter, so more expensive and worse quality.
The coffee I make at home tastes better
There are better options in the area
Edit to answer the owner
"Even the greats, like Michael Jordan, had off games - We would have been happy to remake it as part of our service we offer, if you asked us."
I took the coffee and drove off so I had no time to come back and speaking of "Michael Jordan," this is the second time coffee was on the meh side.
"But we completely understand if you’d prefer to stick to your at-home brew — we hear the overheads there are much more reasonable."
I think you either didn't get the point or you're going around the point
If I want to stick to "home brew" coffee then I wouldn't buy a coffee from cafes like yours in the first place also I don't need a lecture from your if I need to stick to my "home brew" or not.
"Running a café with rising wages, fresh good quality beans (Gabriel), milk, packing etc tends to cost money. If you look into what Sydney should be charging you might be surprised."
First of all, who cares about cost running a cafe ? why customers always have to care but business owners like you in reality don't care if people are unable to afford thing or if they're getting ripped off ?
If you are really struggling to run your business then close down who cares, there are many other options
Speaking of "f you look into what Sydney should be charging you might be surprised.""
Look I am not a random person who lives in the jungle and had a coffee outside my house first time in my life.
I live in Sydney North Shore and $6.20 is not the normal, some places do charge this amount for a coffee and other provides better coffee than yours for less.
"We want to continue to be here to serve our amazing customers and if you order a speciality milk, large coffee on a weekend, when we have a surcharge to pay our staff accordingly, then that's the cost. Most understand. Some don't, but thats ok.
Best of luck on your quest for the perfect coffee — you’re always welcome back if you change your mind."
Paying your staff is your job not the customer so in other words do your job but this is more of an excuse to charge more.
"you’re always welcome back if you change your mind.""
Why would I ?
I have been to your cafe few times because I used to like the coffee and service and never complained about the quality of your coffee or service
The moment I gave my feedback, you started giving lectures about "Best of luck on your quest for the perfect coffee" or cost to run a business
Your response is not professional, instead of you looking into the issue (in case you want to continue to serve your amazing customers) and see why did something like this happened instead of spending time writing an essay however you could have just said something like this "Sorry we will look into it or whatever" but your response shows how an arrogant person you are and can't...
Read moreFood was average. No complaints on the food for the most part. Service was a bit lacking. Sat down for breakfast with a baby and a preschooler for breakfast... And eventually ordered after much deliberation. After we had ordered, then we got shown the children's menu which was also a colouring page, which would've been useful BEFORE we had ordered. Dropped a fork, the wait staff saw, and looked away. Had been earlier in the week at opening for a b&e. Wait staff obviously had no customers, but 2 of them were so consumed with setting up tables and chatting together while I waited there to be served for almost 10 minutes. I mean when you finally get their attention theyre lovely. Also the place is fairly cold. No heating, doors and windows wide open. Just a heads up if you're...
Read moreChoosing a cafe can be a bit dull as most would have the same old choices. On Thursday it was different Finally we found one that 'Evolved'. Greeted with a warm friendly welcome by the lovely waitress, we sat down, ordered coffees (perfect by the way) and looked at the menu. Yes there were the staples of B&E rolls, croissants and smashed avo but then you move to Iced Vovo Waffles, Risotto Nero, Mediterranean eggs and the one I ordered Shakshuka. I like to try new things and WOW, this was amazing. Full of flavours The portion I had was very filling but if a giant pot of this was in front of me I would eat until they'd have to roll me out the door. When in Wahroonga you have to pop in to Evolve. Thankyou to...
