What a disappointing visit today, especially after being so excited to introduce my dad to Missing Spoon’s açaí bowls that I’ve enjoyed countless times before. Sadly, I doubt i’ll be coming back. First, the price has gone up to $16 for a large with sauce, and yet the portion I received was the size of a small. After comparing it to past photos and even other customers’ bowls, I walked back to politely ask why it was so small. I was told the portions used to be “too big” and that they’re still cheaper than competitors. But honestly, you be the judge, how is this size fair for $16? It’s disheartening to see a place I used to love compromise on both value and experience. This could have been easily resolved with better communication or simply a bowl that matched the price. Unfortunately, they’ve just lost one of their happy, loyal customers. All pictures provided are their large cup sizes. 1st picture is what we received.

I tried this cute little cafe on Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu. From more standard eats, through to the arange of awesome Korean eats, you're likely to find something tasty. I opted to try the Korean Street Toast (an omelette toastie) pimped up to include a hashbrow, cheese, cabbage and honey mustard - yum! The bread is toasted so nicely, and overall it was a substantial on the go brunch. Totally worth a visit and made even better by my accompanying mocha and choice of enjoying my food whilst sitting in Wahroonga Park across the street. I'm moving to the area soon and cannot wait to sample some more signature menu items from Missing Spoon.

Great new cafe in the shopping village. Delicious Korean/Japanese inspired take on the cafe/brunch scene. Wide variety of burgers, healthy bowl options and Korean/Japanese mains. Would highly recommend the bulgogi burger/chicken katsu burger and bulgogi bibim bowl. Pablo and Rusty’s coffee is made well, no issues there. Super friendly service is at the counter with food/coffees brought to the table after payment. Dining in aspect needs a little bit of improvement if I’m being honest. Metal cutlery and water brought to customers would improve the eating in experience and ensure returning customers. Otherwise it just feels like takeaway with a table and chair provided.

Missing Spoon has good food, and has had for years. Only recently I’ve seen they have added açai to their menu.

Being next door to Blue Lemon Açai, I was under the impression that these açai cups must be up to par. I was painfully let down, and felt robbed of my money to be completely honest.

Sure the price is $1 cheaper, but from my perspective, this just seems like a cheap and petty way to draw Blue Lemon Açai customers over to Missing Spoon.

Apart from my own personal issues of the morality of this, the açai tastes watered down and is disgusting. The fruits that are served along with the cups, is another factor as to why I feel robbed when served. The portions are a lot smaller than they promote on the 3 different televisions in the shop displaying the açai cups. Less than half I’d say. Not only the fruits, but the sauces as well. I ordered mine with Biscoff, only for it to come back to me as hard as a rock and stuck to the açai. The açai was melting at a rapid rate as the sauce just becomes frozen?

I’m positive they must water the açai down or add some other ingredient to it, that’s how gross it is. This is the most pathetic stunt I’ve seen from a restaurant in Wahroonga I’ve seen in the past 5 years I’ve lived here. Do not...

I wrote a review ohh last year I think just as I decided to never go back. The staff are so rude that everything seems to be an effort. I am a local and thought I would give them another go: Same stuff happened. I have a bit of a sore back and was sitting down waiting for my buzzer to go off. I was the closest table to the counter: when the buzzer went off I slowly gathered my things , whilst doing so the so called manager yells out number 6! Number 6! He knew exactly where no. 6 was as the buzzer was going off. I asked him what the problem was and why he was rushing me.. and he wasn’t interested in sharing and basically said I don’t want to listen to you. I said to him this is the second time I’ve experienced rudeness in this place. I said you really shouldn’t treat your customers like this. As a business owner myself, if I spoke to customers the way some of the staff do here, I wouldn’t have a business. Sadly, as a local who supports the businesses in Wahroonga, this is off the list permanently now. I gave them another go but Nup, not again: I spent $30 there too! I get people have hard days and I get they could be tired at the end of a long day but this was just such a horrible...

I have ordered some food from this shop thorough Uber eats last Monday 8/2/21 at lunch time.

Karage Udon Pork Bento

First of all, the lid of the udon soup has not closed properly so some of the soup spilt on the way. Disappointing.

Sencondly, the bento’s quality of food and contents were not quite decent. The side dishes Kimchi- was so soggy tastes awful.. noticed that is definitely been so old in the fridge or something. And the seasoned spinach had gone absolutely.. I just spit that out straight away and smelled it. Was just off. Very very disappointing..(I’m a Korean background person so I known what the taste should be).

I’m not telling the food should be perfect in my taste however the overall quality we have ordered were just not right according to their price..

(I’m afraid that have no idea how to put photos in the review)

Bento $27, Udon $19

Used to like ordering food here but sad that I cannot...
