I dont know what the 5 star fuss is all about. This place is definitely not worth a 5 star rating. We attended yesterday on Mothers Day with my family, and it was not pleasant. The pizza was soggy, and other dishes were dry, and for the premium price you pay, servings were not generous at all. The staff is not happy and extremely rude. You have to get up and walk to the other side of the restaurant and serve yourself water glass by glass. Staff refuse to serve water at the table. Female owner constantly complained that they were busy and understaffed. The restaurant was not that busy, and there was staff everywhere. As far as im concerned, it was very unorganised and poor management. Most disturbing of all is the big fella in the kitchen, who im told is the owner was constantly abusing and yelling to his staff in such a rude manner. We also witnessed him aggressively yell at another customer for the review he posted. My family and 88 year old mother had to witness this incident. Guys, seriously, your problems are not ours. Stay at home. People like yourselves should not be running...

We had dinner there on the weekend. And we were NOT IMPRESSED!! Service was terrible the waitress/ waiters are not communicating with each other . So they all come over at different times to us and have no idea if we have eaten, need mains What ?? No idea . We unfortunately were seated near the kitchen and that was a terrible experience the owner was yelling at the kitchen staff and yelling at the wait staff over our heads !!!!! Not professional at all you should probably stay home 🏡 and not be running the restaurant. Definitely no vibe or atmosphere. The pizza was actually nice thank goodness for that ! Also we noticed after we left our clothing was all smelling of fried food !!! And we didn’t eat any ! We have had to have all the clothing we were wearing that night dry-cleaned 🤬 Obviously there is NO ventilation working in that kitchen which is a dangerous hazard !!!! as we should not be smelling of fried food !! In a pizza restaurant Get your...

The Bruschetta was bland and tasteless. The Garlic Gamberi was cold and literally didn’t taste of anything but garlic. The Patate pizza was actually lovely but again the Nonna’s Ragu was cold and lacking flavour. Honestly the food wasn’t THAT bad but our whole experience was ruined when a rude, bald man with an arm tattoo (I’m presuming he was the owner) decided it was appropriate to yell and swear at his chefs in front of the entire restaurant. How unprofessional!! I feel so sorry for the employees that have to deal with his temper and arrogance. The whole vibe of the restaurant was off after that, it was so awkward. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

If you’re going to eat here, do yourself a favour and only order takeaway pizza and avoid the whole dining in experience. Seems to be the only thing they...

My wife and I recently celebrated a milestone birthday at Bocca Bocca, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The service was truly second to none—attentive, warm, and incredibly professional without ever being overbearing. The food was exceptional. Our families couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed it. Every dish was packed with flavour and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was a hit, but the tiramisu was hands down the winner for me. It’s rare to find a place that delivers so strongly on both food and service, but Bocca Bocca absolutely nailed it. A huge thank you to Sam, Rocco, and the entire team for taking such great care of us and our families from start to finish. Legends!

As a local, I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. The atmosphere is fantastic – warm, cosy, and dimly lit, with an authentic Italian charm. Some nights even feature live jazz, adding to the already inviting vibe. It’s definitely worth booking ahead – the night we visited, it was packed. I went with a couple of girlfriends, and we shared a selection of starters from the antipasto menu: arancini, stuffed zucchini flowers, burrata, olives, and wood-fired puffed bread – all absolutely delicious. We also shared the prosciutto pizza, which was a standout. I’m already planning my next visit – can’t wait to try their pastas and explore more of the pizza menu

My wife and I visited around 7pm on a Wednesday evening. It was fairly empty. The manager was incredibly welcoming and the subsequent service was marvellous. We had fettuccine bosciolla, which I felt was done to perfection. I drank my normal apple cider and my wife tried an apple based Martini which she told me was delicious. We followed this up with Creme Broulee and a Tiramisu. All in all a wonderful evening. Yes, a little pricey, but I felt the quality was worth it. Note: there are three parking lots within 5 minutes walk.
