We went there for lunch on a working day. We have only one hour, so we needed lunch to be fast served.
We got there, and had the selection of seating outside, inside or the courtyard. We chose the courtyard.
The courtyard was small, but well decorated, plants were not intrusive, however very visible nicely trimmed and kept. Privacy was great, no outside prying eyes could see in. The umbrellas were cantilever style, so all the poles were kept at bay from the tables and did not intrude.
We sat down and although it took a little while, we got someone to take our orders after a few minutes. A few too many minutes to my like, and for the time available for us to have lunch. But never the less, it was slow, but not late.
After we placed our orders, we waited for nearly 20 minutes to have our drinks served. By then was half hour from the time we walked in. Not happy thinking that at this rate I will have to shove my food quickly down my throat as time was slipping away.
Food arrived a few minutes later. Literally had to eat it quickly, as there was no much time left.
I had the Vietnamese chicken salad. A bunch of small cut crunchy salad and twisted mint laced with small and tender chicken pieces, with a salty fish sauce, soy and other Asian spices. Really nice. Except that it felt that they run out of Beef and replaced it with chicken when doing the Vietnamese Beef Salad.
But I did not enjoyed it because I had to very quickly eat it. and wash it down with the coffee that was still very hot as it was only served a few minutes ago.
No, I will not do limited time eating here again. But I will definitely be back. To eat through their menu choices. The menu consisted of dishes that you may find in other restaurants or cafes, but they all had a twist. Even the basic steak sandwich was presented beautifully and the chips were replaced by polenta chips with an exotic chilli dipping sauce, while the butter used on the bread was replaced by pesto.
However I will be back and taste, and take my time tasting and savour my food.

Two options for ordering QR code or physical menu.
I was saved by the physical menu.
Extensive menu with all dietary options available.
I had a strawberry milkshake (lime is not on offer but I still asked 😂 even though I could see it wasn’t on the menu). A slice of coconut/mango loaf was a definite must. And a generous serving of pancakes with a side of freshly whipped cream and pottle of maple syrup with some fruit to fill me up.
My daughter had the porridge with açai and fruit and my nephew, BLT and fries. Very generous portions that definitely warranted the walk back to Pagewood.
The staff are friendly and efficient. We didn’t wait long for our meals.
A cosy cafe with a steady flow of patronage.
Worth every cent.
We didn’t explore the attached yoga and palates studio but we will next time.
And of course I forgot to take...
Read moreThis is a great little cafè in Botany with a yoga studio attached out the back. This cafè is bright and open with indoor and outdoor seating. With vibrant art work hung inside the cafe. With frienly service good food and coffee. It could be your Zen cafè experience. There are plenty of breakfast options to suit, there are a number of pre made options if you are on the run, muffins, cookies, sandwiches, bacon and egg rolls.... On this occasion I dined in and was after a healthy option. I ordered the deliciously healthy mushroom stack. With a giant meaty Mushroom topped with spinach, 2 poached eggs and dukkah. The person I was meeting with ordered the ricotta pancakes, they were well presented a generous serving topped with ricotta, strawberies and a poached pear. The breakfast was a little pricey, but the food was quality and I don't mind paying for that. Definitely...
