The staff are very friendly, greeting us on arrival, and the food was quick to get to our table. I ordered the pulled pork eggs benedict (always have to try the eggs benedict the first visit!), and while the hollandaise was a little subtle, perhaps this wasn't a bad thing when mixed with the pork! The pork itself was tender and delicious, the toast nice and soft (good to not fight the bread for my meal), and the eggs were perfectly poached. An interesting take on my favourite brunch dish!
My partner got the breakfast plate, and the flavours were good - the eggs and relish in particular - but the serving size smaller than expected; it could have used more mushroom and tomato relish, and the bacon was maybe a little bland. I've been here a couple of times with my wife and have been very impressed with the staff's friendliness, consistency with delicious food, coffee and willingness to being hospitable to new customers. The extra attention to food here is something that deserves praise. Coffee is very good and consistent. Make sure you try the potato hash with choice of haloumi, smoked salmon or bacon.
