Haven’t tried the food and tbh completely put off trying it due to customer service. Maybe you should get better staff. I called up as a new customer and the girl who answered was so rude. She told us the wait time and because I didn’t couldn’t hear her properly, I asked sorry did you say an hour and half and she said rudely well I wouldn’t say it if it weren’t true…. I had her on speaker , me and my partner were so shocked and I said wow you don’t have to be rude I couldn’t hear you that’s why I asked again, I said what’s yours name please . Average food. But always friendly staff. Sometimes they are busy and it takes more time. Also it depends if you order lunch meals(usually better price) or main course. Not many tables to sit so if they are busy the only way is to order takeway and eat it in park(awesome option during sunny days) or home or office. Portion are good so you will not be disapointed if you are looking for something to stop your hunger. I visited this place many times always during lunch times. Botany Chinese Restaurant Review -1 star as the dine in was closed and we had to walk to Booralee park to eat however the walk was brisk and pleasant (see my Booralee park review) Ordered the 4 in 1 meal, king prawns in Szechuan sauce, and spring roll ($$$$) The 4 in 1 box was more of a 3 in 1 + 1. Nice curry sauce, more chilli to balance. The king prawns are not king prawns and the Szechuan sauce was sweet and sour sauce. The spring roll sauce was watered down bbq sauce. But the rolls are crunchy.
