Rude cashier. I was picking the buns and one of the bun slipped and fell on floor. I apologised and i asked for tissue so can pick it up, which was at the counter. Then another staff who has near the store, near the racks, quickly went to pickup the bun on the floor, which i thought the other staff was sweet to offer her help. What i was flabbergasted is the cashier started speaking in mandarin, telling the staff not to help me and to let me pick it up myself!! Breadtop should teach its staff some manners. Just coz she speak in mandarin, she does not get to be rude no mattar which language she use coz sydney is metropolitan city as i hail from singapore and understand mandarin. No respect for paying customer...everytime i walk in to breadtop, i spend min $40 ..you have just lost a loyal customer!! Also she did not even bother to ask me if i needed a bag, just took liberty to charge 0.10 cent and pack thebuns...
Read moreVery disappointed to realise that they add lard (which is pig fat) to their products without clearly mentioning the source on the product lable. After eating several walnut cookies I felt a strange taste and checked for the ingredients and found lard as an ingredient. Didnt now what is lard until I searched. They should clearly mention on the lable that it has animal fat (pork fat). Many people including vegans and vegetarians dont eat pork products. Very inconsiserate! Also their other product (Almond fingers)...
